Never Alone - Poetic Reading

This Picture Is For This Post Only

🌿 Never Alone — A Poetic Reading

It looked like he was alone
when the brothers walked away,
their voices fading into the distance
as the pit swallowed his childhood dreams.
But the pit was not empty.
God was already there.

It looked like he was alone
when the caravan carried him far from home,
past the hills he once played on,
past the tents where his father prayed.
But the desert winds whispered a secret:
God was riding beside him.

It looked like he was alone
in Potiphar’s house,
a stranger in a strange land,
a servant with no rights,
a young man with no defender.
But even Potiphar could see it—
the Lord was with Joseph.

It looked like he was alone
when the prison doors clanged shut,
when false accusations chained his future,
when darkness wrapped around his name.
But mercy walked into the cell with him,
and favor lit the corners of the dungeon.

It looked like he was forgotten
when the butler walked free
and Joseph remained behind.
But heaven had not forgotten.
God was writing a story
that required Joseph to wait
until the exact moment
destiny opened its door.

It looked like he was alone
when he stood before Pharaoh,
a Hebrew slave in a royal court.
But wisdom flowed like a river,
and God’s presence crowned him
with authority no man could deny.

It looked like he was alone
when he wept over the brothers
who once betrayed him.
But God had walked with him
through every valley,
so he could stand in that moment
with forgiveness in his hands
and love in his voice.

Joseph was never alone—
not in the pit,
not on the road,
not in the house,
not in the prison,
not in the palace.

For the God who called him
never left him.
The God who shaped him
never abandoned him.
The God who purposed him
never forgot him.

And the boy who seemed forsaken
became the man who saved nations.

He was never alone—
because God was always writing
a greater story.

When God Entrusts You - For all Ages Devotion and Sermon

When God Entrusts You - For all Ages Devotion and Sermon

When God Entrusts You

**🌿 DEVOTIONAL: When God Trusts a Life

Inspired by The Trusted One**

There are moments in Scripture when a single life shines with a quiet, unmistakable glow—not because the person was loud, powerful, or privileged, but because God’s favor rested on them in a way no human could explain.

Joseph is one of those lives.

He grew up in a house full of tension, rivalry, and unspoken wounds.
He grew up motherless.
He grew up misunderstood.
He grew up hated by those who should have protected him.
He grew up with only an old father and a tiny brother who loved him.

And yet—Joseph walked with a purity that refused to harden.

He did not become bitter.
He did not become vengeful.
He did not become like the world around him.

He remained innocent in a hostile environment, and heaven took notice.

🌟 God’s Favor Finds the Innocent

Joseph’s story teaches us something profound:

God’s favor is drawn to innocence the way light is drawn to a window.

Not perfection.
Not performance.
Not pedigree.

But innocence—
the kind that chooses truth when lies are easier,
the kind that chooses purity when compromise is convenient,
the kind that chooses faithfulness when no one is watching.

Joseph was trusted by every leader in his life because God trusted him first.

  • Jacob trusted him with truth.

  • Potiphar trusted him with authority.

  • The prison keeper trusted him with responsibility.

  • Pharaoh trusted him with a nation.

This wasn’t coincidence.
This was character shaped by God’s presence.

🌧️ God’s Favor Does Not Remove Suffering—It Redeems It

Joseph’s life reminds us that favor does not mean ease.

He was favored—
and thrown into a pit.

He was favored—
and sold as a slave.

He was favored—
and falsely accused.

He was favored—
and forgotten in prison.

But in every place, Scripture repeats the same phrase:

“And the LORD was with Joseph.”

Favor is not the absence of storms.
Favor is the presence of God in the storm.

🔥 God Trusts Those Who Walk With Him

Joseph’s life whispers a truth we often forget:

God is looking for people He can trust.

Not with fame.
Not with applause.
Not with comfort.

But with purpose.

Joseph was trusted with:

  • dreams

  • wisdom

  • leadership

  • suffering

  • influence

  • the future of nations

Because Joseph’s heart was a place God could dwell.

🌈 When You Feel Alone, Remember Joseph

Maybe you know what it feels like to be:

  • misunderstood

  • overlooked

  • rejected

  • falsely accused

  • surrounded by people but still alone

Joseph’s story tells you this:

God sees you.
God is with you.
God is shaping you.
God is preparing you.
God is trusting you with something greater than you can see.

Your pit is not your ending.
Your prison is not your identity.
Your pain is not wasted.

God is writing a story where your faithfulness becomes the doorway to your destiny.

✨ Closing Reflection

Joseph was trusted by men because he was trusted by God.
And he was trusted by God because he walked with God.

May we walk with the same innocence, the same purity, the same quiet faithfulness—
so that heaven can trust us with the purposes prepared for our lives.

🔥 LIVING IN FAVOR WITH GOD AND MAN

A Full Sermon

INTRODUCTION — THE MYSTERY OF FAVOR

Favor is not an accident.
Favor is not luck.
Favor is not favoritism.

Favor is the visible evidence of the invisible hand of God.

And Joseph’s life is the clearest picture in Scripture of what it means to live in favor with God and man.

But before we talk about Joseph’s favor, we must talk about Jacob’s choice — the choice that shaped the entire household.

Because Jacob didn’t live in a perfect home.
He lived in a divided home.
A jealous home.
A wounded home.
A home where every wife favored her own children.

So the question rises:

What choices did Jacob have?
And how do we judge a father who loved one son more?

Let’s walk into the fire of this story.

🔥 POINT 1 — JACOB LIVED IN A HOUSE OF DIVISION

Jacob did not create the rivalry.
He inherited it.

Leah loved Jacob — Jacob did not love Leah.
Rachel loved Jacob — Jacob loved Rachel.
Bilhah and Zilpah were servants caught in the crossfire.

Every wife favored her own children.
Every mother pushed her sons forward.
Every son grew up competing for the father’s attention.

Jacob’s home was a battlefield long before Joseph was born.

So what choices did Jacob have?

  • He could not erase the jealousy between the mothers.

  • He could not undo the rivalry between the sons.

  • He could not heal the wounds created before Joseph ever existed.

Jacob was not choosing between fairness and favoritism.
He was choosing between brokenness and survival.

🔥 POINT 2 — JACOB LOVED THE SON WHO STILL NEEDED HIM

Scripture gives the reason plainly:

“He was the son of his old age.”
“He was the son of his dead wife.”

Jacob was old.
Joseph was young.
Joseph was motherless.
Joseph was innocent.
Joseph was alone except for his father and tiny brother.

The older sons were grown, hardened, married, independent.
Joseph was still a boy — still tender — still dependent.

Jacob didn’t choose Joseph because Joseph was “better.”
Jacob chose Joseph because Joseph was vulnerable.

He was the only child who still needed a father’s arms.

How do you judge a father for loving the child who needs him most?

🔥 POINT 3 — JACOB COULD TRUST JOSEPH MORE THAN THE OTHERS

This is the truth people overlook:

Joseph was trustworthy.

  • He was honest.

  • He was pure.

  • He was obedient.

  • He was gentle.

  • He was faithful.

  • He was innocent in a house full of rivalry.

Jacob had lived long enough to know which sons were dangerous, deceptive, or violent.

Joseph was different.

Jacob didn’t trust Joseph because of favoritism.
Jacob trusted Joseph because of character.

And God saw the same thing.

🔥 POINT 4 — GOD FAVORED JOSEPH BECAUSE GOD CHOSE JOSEPH

Jacob’s favoritism explains the coat.
God’s favor explains the calling.

Jacob’s favoritism explains the jealousy.
God’s favor explains the dreams.

Jacob’s favoritism explains the tension.
God’s favor explains the triumph.

Jacob favored Joseph because of pain.
God favored Joseph because of purpose.

Jacob favored Joseph because he was the son of his old age.
God favored Joseph because he was the son of His divine plan.

Jacob favored Joseph because he was the son of his dead wife.
God favored Joseph because he was the son who would save nations.

You cannot judge Jacob
when God Himself placed His hand on the same son.

🔥 POINT 5 — LIVING IN FAVOR WITH GOD AND MAN

Joseph lived in favor with:

  • his father

  • Potiphar

  • the prison keeper

  • Pharaoh

  • and God Himself

Why?

Because Joseph lived with:

  • integrity

  • purity

  • humility

  • faithfulness

  • innocence

  • obedience

  • a heart God could trust

Favor follows character.
Favor follows purity.
Favor follows faithfulness.
Favor follows the presence of God.

Joseph didn’t chase favor.
Favor chased Joseph.

And when God favors a life:

  • no pit can bury it

  • no lie can silence it

  • no prison can hold it

  • no hatred can stop it

  • no jealousy can destroy it

Joseph lived in favor with God and man
because Joseph lived in the presence of God.

🔥 CONCLUSION — YOU CAN LIVE IN FAVOR TOO

Joseph’s story is not just history.
It is invitation.

You can live in favor with God and man when you:

  • walk in integrity

  • stay pure in heart

  • remain faithful in trials

  • refuse bitterness

  • trust God in the dark

  • stay humble in success

  • keep your spirit innocent before Him

Favor is not earned.
Favor is not bought.
Favor is not inherited.

Favor is given to the one God can trust.

Joseph was trusted by Jacob.
Joseph was trusted by leaders.
Joseph was trusted by God.

And when God trusts you —
men will too.

New: 🌿 From Spring to Summer

This Photo Stays With This Poem

🌿 From Spring to Summer

A Poetic Devotional

Spring begins the story
with soft breezes and tender green,
with promises rising quietly
from places winter once held still.
It is the season of beginnings —
of hope stretching,
of faith awakening,
of life returning in gentle colors.

But God does not stop at beginnings.
He carries us forward.
He leads us onward.
He brings us from the first stirring of hope
into the full warmth of His goodness.

From spring to summer,
God grows what He has planted.

What sprouted in cool mornings
now stands tall in golden light.
What whispered in early breezes
now sings in full, bright chorus.
What began as a small, hidden seed
now becomes strength, beauty, and blessing.

Spring teaches us to hope.
Summer teaches us to trust.

Spring says, “God is doing something new.”
Summer says, “God has brought it into fullness.”

Spring shows the first leaf.
Summer shows the full tree.
Spring gives the promise.
Summer gives the harvest.

And so it is with our hearts.

The Lord who awakens us in spring
is the same Lord who strengthens us in summer.
The God who whispers, “Rise,”
is the God who declares, “Walk in My light.”
The One who begins the work
is faithful to complete it.

From spring to summer,
from hope to fulfillment,
from promise to praise —
God is with us in every season.

Spring Songs

This Picture Goes Just With These Songs

Spring Songs 1

A Spring Time Melody Begins

A Spring Time Melody begins where winter ends,
When God breathes hope into the quiet earth again.
The frozen ground softens, the cold winds cease,
And creation lifts its voice in a gentle hymn of peace.

Each blossom is a promise, each sunrise a sign,
That the God who raised Jesus still makes all things shine.
The robins sing early, the lilies unfold,
And the story of redemption is retold and retold.

Spring is God’s reminder that mercy is new,
That life can begin again, washed clean and made true.
So let my heart join creation in its sweet harmony —
For Christ is my song, my Spring Time Melody.

My Spring Time Melody

Verse 1
The morning breaks with colors bright,
The world wakes up in soft sunlight.
The flowers rise, the robins sing,
And all creation worships Him.

Chorus
It’s a Spring Time Melody,
Hope alive and running free.
Jesus brings new life to me,
My forever song of victory.
Every bud on every tree
Sings a Spring Time Melody.

Verse 2
The winter fades, the cold is gone,
Grace steps in and leads the song.
The cross, the tomb, the risen King —
He is the reason seasons sing.

Chorus
It’s a Spring Time Melody…

Bridge
New life rising, hearts made clean,
Mercy blooming like the spring.
Every breath a gift from He
Who is my Spring Time Melody.

 He’s Our Spring Time Melody

Springtime is a happy song
Where flowers wave and birds sing strong.
Jesus makes the world brand new —
And He brings new life to me and you.

It’s a Spring Time Melody,
Singing bright and joyfully.
Jesus loves us endlessly —
He’s our Spring Time Melody.

Cohesive: Held Together by Christ

The Picture Is for This Devotion

**🌿 Devotion of the Day

Cohesive: Held Together by Christ

“And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
— Colossians 1:17 (KJV)

The word cohesive means held together in unity, connected with purpose, forming something whole that is stronger than its individual parts. In our spiritual walk, this is exactly what Christ does within us. He takes the scattered pieces of our thoughts, emotions, and experiences and binds them together with His truth.

Life has a way of pulling us in many directions. Responsibilities tug at us. Worries try to unravel us. Old wounds attempt to break us apart. But a heart anchored in Christ does not fall into pieces — it becomes cohesive. Not because we are strong, but because He holds all things together.

Think of a mosaic: tiny fragments, each broken, each different, yet arranged by a master artist into something breathtaking. That is what Christ does with us. He takes what once felt disconnected — our past, our present, our hopes, our failures — and forms a life that reflects His grace.

A cohesive Christian life isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment.
A mind aligned with Christ becomes a life shaped by Christ.
A heart filled with Christ becomes a spirit strengthened by Christ.
A walk led by Christ becomes a testimony that glorifies Christ.

Reflection

Lord, make my heart cohesive. Bring unity to my thoughts, peace to my spirit, and purpose to my steps. Hold me together when life tries to pull me apart, and let every part of me reflect You.

Reading Suggestion

Colossians 1:15–20 — A powerful reminder that Christ is the One who holds all things together.

🎶 “More Than I Planted”

This Picture Is for This Poem Song Only

🎶 “More Than I Planted”

Verse 1

I planted seeds in quiet ground,
Just hoping for a simple yield,
But roses bloomed where hope was found,
And grace rose shining in my field.
He gave me more than I expected—
A harvest time could not contain;
He poured out mercy unexpected,
Forgiveness falling like the rain.

Verse 2

I planted seeds of compassion,
Prayed tenderness would start to grow,
And He sent people on my pathway
To shower with His love below.
I sowed small seeds of encouragement,
Asked God to bless them as they spread,
And He filled up my heart with hope—
A living joy to share instead.

Verse 3

I planted seeds of faithfulness,
My offerings humble, small, and few;
He filled my garden full of faith,
Though weeds crept in, as weeds will do.
I asked Him for His sweet forgiveness,
Pulled doubts from where they tried to start;
He set me apart for His purpose,
And wrote His peace upon my heart.

Verse 4

Tested and tried, I wondered softly
If I must give my life someday,
Like pods that break to free their seeds
And scatter truth along the way.
But then He whispered, “Child, remember—
Your life is Mine; your strength is Me.
Just sow the seeds of his truth and love,
And trust the harvest yet to be.”

🎵 Chorus

More than I planted,
More than I dreamed,
Grace overflowing
In rivers redeemed.
Mercy unending,
Love without end—
He sends the harvest
Only God can send.

The Legend of the Sand Dollar Song

The Legend of the Sand Dollar Song

The Legend of the Sand Dollar Song

There's a lovely little legend
That I would like to tell
Of the birth and death of Jesus
Found in this lowly shell.

If you examine closely,
You'll see that you'll find here
Four nail holes and a fifth one
Made by a Roman's spear.

On one side the Easter lily,
Its center is the star
That appeared unto the shepherds
And led them from afar.

The Christmas poinsettia,
Etched on the other side
Reminds us of His birthday,
Our happy Christmastide.

Now break the center open,
And here you will release
The five white doves awaiting
To spread Good will and peace.

This simple little symbol,
Christ left for you and me
To help us spread His Gospel
Through all eternity.

Author Unknown

Chorus: Sand Dollar Choir Theme Song

Sand Dollar, Sand Dollar Help Me Tell The Story, Sand Dollar Sand Dollar Help Me Tell The Story...How He Lived, How He Loved, How He Died, and Rose Again.

Over Twentyfive Years Ago....I wrote a chorus to this poem. I posted it to my blog. It is no longer there. Somehow it is not on my blog any longer. I'm trying not to say someone removed it. I came up with the name Sand Dollars for our children's choir. Our Church had a sea theme. They still do as far as I know. The last I heard the choir is still called the Sand Dollars, though we are no longer there. It's a good easter song to sing.

I chose to use this song because this poem was no longer used or read for some reason and had no owner.

I can still sing this song with no trouble at all.

✝️ THE ENTIRE STORY OF EASTER

✝️ THE ENTIRE STORY FORM OF EASTER

THE STORY BEGINS IN THE QUIET OF A GARDEN

The night was still.
The moon hung softly over the olive trees of Gethsemane, where Jesus knelt alone.
His disciples, tired from the long day, had fallen asleep nearby.

Jesus knew what was coming.
He knew the pain, the cross, the betrayal — and yet His heart was steady.

He whispered a prayer that would echo through all eternity:

“Not my will, but thine, be done.” — Luke 22:42 (KJV)

In that moment, Jesus chose you.
He chose love.
He chose the cross.

🔥 THE ARREST — WHEN DARKNESS TRIED TO WIN

Suddenly, the quiet garden filled with the clatter of swords and the glow of torches.
A crowd of soldiers pushed through the trees.

Jesus did not hide.
He stepped forward.

“Whom seek ye?” He asked.

They answered, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

And with calm authority, He said:

“I am he.” — John 18:5 (KJV)

The soldiers fell backward at His words — because even in chains, Jesus was still the King.

He allowed Himself to be taken, not because He was weak,
but because He came to save the lost.

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10 (KJV)

✝️ THE TRIAL — LOVE ON TRIAL BEFORE MEN

Jesus was taken from place to place — questioned, mocked, beaten.
People lied about Him.
Crowds shouted for His death.

Yet He never argued.
Never fought back.
Never stopped loving.

Like a lamb before its shearers, He was silent.

“He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth.” — Isaiah 53:7 (KJV)

🌑 THE CROSS — WHERE LOVE PAID THE HIGHEST PRICE

At last, Jesus was led to Calvary.
The sky grew dark.
The earth trembled.
The Savior suffered.

Nails pierced His hands.
A crown of thorns pressed into His brow.
But it wasn’t the nails that held Him there.

Love did.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (KJV)

As Jesus hung on the cross, He looked at the world with compassion —
even forgiving the very people who hurt Him.

Finally, He cried:

“It is finished.” — John 19:30 (KJV)

The price for sin was paid in full.

🌘 THE SILENT TOMB — A WAITING WORLD

Jesus’ body was placed in a borrowed tomb.
A heavy stone sealed the entrance.
Roman soldiers stood guard.

To His followers, it felt like hope had died.
The world seemed quiet, cold, and broken.

But heaven knew something the world did not.

The story was not over.

🌅 THE RESURRECTION — THE MOMENT EVERYTHING CHANGED

Early Sunday morning, before the sun rose, the earth shook.
A bright angel rolled the stone away.

The tomb was empty.

Jesus was alive.

“He is not here: for He is risen.” — Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

Death had lost.
Sin had been defeated.
Hope had returned.

The greatest victory in history happened in a quiet garden at dawn.

👣 THE RISEN SAVIOR WALKS AGAIN

Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, calling her by name.
He walked with two disciples on the road to Emmaus.
He entered a locked room and said, “Peace be unto you.”

He ate with them.
He taught them.
He comforted them.

More than 500 people saw Him alive.

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore.” — Revelation 1:18 (KJV)

The risen Savior proved that nothing — not even death — could stop His love.

🌍 THE GREAT COMMISSION — THE STORY CONTINUES WITH US

Before returning to heaven, Jesus gave His followers a mission:

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel.” — Mark 16:15 (KJV)

The Easter story didn’t end at the empty tomb.
It continues every time someone shares the good news that Jesus lives.

🌸 WHAT MAKES EASTER SPECIAL

Easter is special because:

  • Jesus kept His promise.
  • Love conquered death.
  • Hope became unbreakable.
  • We can be forgiven.
  • We can live forever with Him.
  • The Savior who died… now lives forevermore.

Easter is the day the world changed —
and the day our hearts can change too.

💡 A TRUTH TO REMEMBER

“Easter isn’t about what’s in the basket.
It’s about what’s not in the tomb.”

🙏 CLOSING PRAYER

“Dear Jesus, thank You for loving us so deeply that You died for our sins and rose again. Help us to remember the true meaning of Easter and to share Your love with others. Amen.”

Here’s a more in‑depth, heartfelt closing prayer and invitation that beautifully expands your original thought, George — written in your warm, ministry style and suitable for any age group.

🙏 Closing Prayer and Invitation — “He Is Risen!”

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for loving us so deeply that You came to earth, lived among us, and gave Your life upon the cross. Thank You for bearing our sins so that we could be forgiven and free. Thank You for rising again, proving that death has no power over You — and that Your love is stronger than anything in this world.

Lord, help us to remember that Easter is not just a day, but a promise — a promise that You are alive, that You walk beside us, and that Your grace is enough for every heart that believes.
Fill our minds with Your truth, our hearts with Your peace, and our lives with Your joy.

If anyone listening has never truly received You as Savior, may they hear Your gentle call today.
You are still saying, “Come unto Me.”
You are still opening the door of mercy and hope.
You are still offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who will believe.

Jesus, we come to You now — thankful, humbled, and amazed by Your love.
Teach us to live in the light of Your resurrection, to share Your love with others, and to walk each day in the victory You have given.

In Your precious name we pray, Amen.

🐑 Little Lambs Learn to Pray - Prayer

🐑 Little Lambs Learn to Pray

A Devotional “Every Day”

©2026 Susan Barker Nikitenko

🌅 Every Day Begins With God

Little Lamb woke up early, just as the sun began to rise.
He stretched his tiny legs, blinked his sleepy eyes, and whispered,
“Thank You, Lord, for a brand‑new day.”

Little Lamb didn’t know what the day would bring — sunshine or clouds, playtime or chores — but he knew one thing for sure: every day is better when he talks to Jesus first.

Just like the song says:

“Ev‑er‑ry day, when the sun arises,
Fill us with praise,
For Your love shines always.”

Little Lamb learned that prayer isn’t something big or fancy.
It’s simply talking to God — in the morning, at sunset, and all the moments in between.

🌇 When the Day Winds Down

As the sky turned orange and purple, Little Lamb watched the sunset paint the hills.
He felt peaceful inside, because he remembered to pray again.

“Thank You, Lord, for being with me today.
Help me love You more tomorrow.”

And the gentle words of the song echoed in his heart:

“Ev‑er‑ry day, when sunset is painting,
Fill us each day
With Your loving ways.”

Little Lamb learned that prayer keeps his heart close to Jesus — morning, noon, and night.

📖 Bible Verse for Little Hearts

Psalm 55:17 (KJV)
“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”

Little Lamb smiled when he heard this verse.
“Jesus hears me every time I pray,” he said.
“And that means I can talk to Him every day!”

🌼 A Simple Little Lamb Prayer

“Dear Jesus,
Help me talk to You every day.
Fill my heart with Your love in the morning,
Guide my steps through the day,
And give me peace at night.
Thank You for hearing me.
Amen.”

🐑 I WANDERED AWAY

🐑 I WANDERED AWAY

Verse 1

I wandered away, I strayed from the fold,
The path felt wide, but my heart felt cold.
I thought I’d be fine, I thought I could roam,
But I missed Your voice… and I missed my home.

Chorus

Little Lamb says, “Jesus, please —
Come and find this lamb like me.”
I wandered far, but now I pray:
Lead me back — I’ll walk Your way.

Verse 2

I wandered away, the sky turned gray,
The joy I had just slipped away.
I called Your name, I cried alone,
But You heard my voice — and brought me home.

Chorus

Little Lamb says, “Jesus, please —
Come and find this lamb like me.”
I wandered far, but now I pray:
Lead me back — I’ll walk Your way.

Bridge

You leave the ninety‑nine behind,
To find one, for your love is kind.
You carry me with gentle grace,
And hold me in Your warm embrace.

Final Chorus

Little Lamb says, “Jesus, please —
Thank You for Your love for me.”
I wandered far, but now I stay:
Safe with you, I trust and pray

My Ministry Signature Icon, My Explanation, Lambs Certificate

✨ “Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.”
— Lamentations 3:41 (KJV)
“Lord, here is my heart.
You see everything about me.
Your mercies are new every morning.
I lift my heart to You —
for Your help, Your guidance,
Your protection, and Your blessing.”

The Heart is a Symbol of Everything I Am and Everything I'm Not.

“Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.”
When I lift my heart up to God, I’m really saying, “Lord, here is my heart. You already see everything about me.”
Father God has every right to know all that I am, and I have trusted Him with my life. In my heart, I lift my hands to Him. I’ve learned that when I hold my heart up before Him, I’m admitting that I am undeserving — as we all are — yet His mercies are new every morning.

As I go through the motion of lifting my heart to my Daddy God, I’m asking for His mercy and protection, His guidance and His blessing, His help and His kindness, His presence and His power.
That simple motion — holding my heart up to God — reminds me that He knows everything about me. Nothing is hidden. And so I say, “Here I am, Lord. Please help me.”

🐣 GET UP AND GET READY "New Song"

🐣 GET UP AND GET READY — IT’S EASTER MORN!

A Fun, Truth‑Filled

©2026 Susan Barker Nikitenko

Verse 1

Get up and get ready — it’s Easter morn!
The sun is rising bright — a brand‑new day is born!
The kidos stretch and wiggle, then shout with happy cheer:
“Jesus is alive — the Savior’s risen here!”

Chorus

Get up! Get ready! It’s Easter morn today!
The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty — Jesus lives always!
Get up! Get ready! Lift your voice and sing —
Jesus is alive, our risen Lord and King!

Verse 2

Get up and get ready — the angels said, “Don’t fear!”
“The Lord is not here — He’s risen!” loud and clear.
The Kido's hop with joy, they clap and sing around,
Because the greatest news has shaken all the ground!

Chorus

Get up! Get ready! It’s Easter morn today!
The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty — Jesus lives always!
Get up! Get ready! Lift your voice and sing —
Jesus is alive, our risen Lord and King!

Bridge ( Echo)

Leader Puppet: He is risen!
Kids/Puppets: He is risen!
Leader Puppet: He is living!
Kids/Puppets: He is living!
Leader Puppet: He is with us!
Kids/Puppets: He is with us!
Together: Forevermore! Forevermore.

Final Chorus

Get up! Get ready! It’s Easter morn today!
The stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty — Jesus lives always!
Morning, noon, and night — we shout with joyful praise,
Jesus lives forever — now and all our days!
