This Lullaby
I hold my little dolly;
Pretend I am a mommy.
I love to take care of her;
and rock her oh, so gently.
I sing her this lullaby;
Until she nods off to
sleep.
My little tiny dolly;
She does not make a peep.
I tuck her into her bed;
Pray the Lord watch over her.
I give her a kiss good night;
"I Love You," is my whisper.
Then my mommy, holds me near;
With a smile she kisses me;
And she sings this lullaby.
Until I'm very sleepy.
She prays beside my bed;
Tells me how she loves me so.
Then she sits just quietly;
Until off to sleep I
go.
