No Tude Please
Of
stompy feet and voices shrill.
Let
kindness rule where tempers fade,
And
grace be more than just a trade.
No
tude, please—let love begin,
With
gentle words and patient grin.
A
thankful heart, a peaceful soul,
With
God’s blessing of self-control.
No
tude, please—I need God’s hand,
To
help me live just as He planned.
A
cheerful heart, not grump or gloom,
Let
joy rebloom and fill the room.
So
if I pout or slam a door,
Lord,
help me love a little more.
No
tude, please—I’d rather be
A
peacemaker in harmony!
Prayer:
Lord help me have the right attitude.
A heart of love and gratitude.
Help me to always be gentle and kind.
With peaceful words, never be rude.
