🌤️ On a Day Like This -

This Picture Is For this Song Only

🌤️ On a Day Like This

A brand‑new children’s song

Verse 1

On a day like this, with the sunshine bright,
Jesus fills our hearts with His love and light.
On a day like this, when the skies turn gray,
Jesus walks beside us every single day.

Chorus

On a day like this — we praise His name!
On a day like this — His love’s the same!
Whether clouds or sun, we lift our voice,
Jesus makes our hearts rejoice!

Verse 2

On a day like this, when the winds blow strong,
Jesus gives us courage as we march along.
On a day like this, when we feel afraid,
Jesus is our helper — we are not dismayed.

Chorus

On a day like this — we praise His name!
On a day like this — His love’s the same!
Whether clouds or sun, we lift our voice,
Jesus makes our hearts rejoice!

Bridge (Echo Style)

Leader: Jesus loves me!
Kids: Jesus loves me!
Leader: Jesus leads me!
Kids: Jesus leads me!
Leader: Jesus keeps me!
Kids: Jesus keeps me!
Together: Every single day!

Final Chorus

On a day like this — we praise His name!
On a day like this — His love’s the same!
Morning, noon, or night, we shout with joy —
Jesus loves each girl and boy!

"WHEREVER YOU ARE" Song

This Photo Is Just for This Post Only

🌟 WHEREVER YOU ARE

Full Song

Verse 1

When the morning light speaks softly
And the world feels fresh and new,
When your steps are just beginning
And His mercies shine on you —
Lift your heart in quiet worship,
Let His love be what you choose.
Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Be a blessing to God.

Chorus

Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Let His kindness and His glory shine through.
In the small things, in the big things too —
Be a blessing to God in all you do.
Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Be a blessing to God.

Verse 2

When the road becomes uncertain
And the path is hard to see,
When the weight you carry lingers
And you fall down to your knees —
He is near you in the shadows,
He will guide and carry you.
Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Be a blessing to God.

Chorus

Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Let His kindness and His glory shine through.
In the small things, in the big things too —
Be a blessing to God in all you do.
Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Be a blessing to God.

Bridge of Praise

Praise the Lord in morning light,
Praise the Lord — get your heart right.
Praise the Lord through joy and tears,
Praise the Lord through all your years.
Praise the Lord in everything —
Let every breath His glory sing.

Final Chorus

Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Let His kindness and His glory shine through.
In the quiet and the crowded too —
Be a blessing to God in all you do.
Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Be a blessing to God.

🙌 Summaries of 10 Verses That Bless and Exalt God — KJV Bible

That Bless and Exalt God

The Coloring Page Goes With This Example

🙌 Summaries of 10 Verses That Bless and Exalt God — KJV Version

1. Psalm 103:1 “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” 🔹 A personal call to wholehearted worship—every part of us is invited to praise God’s holiness.

2. Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” 🔹 Praise isn’t seasonal—it’s constant. Even in hardship, we choose to bless the Lord.

3. Psalm 104:1 “Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.” 🔹 God’s greatness is majestic and awe-inspiring. We bless Him because He is clothed in glory.

4. Daniel 2:20 “Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his.” 🔹 God’s name is eternally worthy of praise—He holds all wisdom and power.

5. Nehemiah 9:5 “Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever…” 🔹 A public call to worship—God’s name is exalted above all praise and deserves our reverence.

6. Luke 1:68 “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people.” 🔹 God’s love is active—He came near and rescued us. That’s why we bless Him.

7. Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…” 🔹 God has poured out spiritual blessings through Christ. Our praise is a response to His generosity.

8. Revelation 5:13 “…Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him…” 🔹 All creation joins in worship—Jesus and the Father are eternally worthy of every kind of praise.

9. 1 Chronicles 29:10–11 “Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father…” 🔹 David exalts God as the source of all greatness, power, and glory—everything belongs to Him.

10. Psalm 145:1–2 “I will extol thee, my God, O king…” 🔹 Daily praise is a lifestyle. God’s name is blessed forever because He is our King.

⚠️ Modernized or Not Exact KJV

  • Psalm 104:1 Your version: “Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great…” KJV: “Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great…” ➤ “You are” vs. “thou art” shows modern language.

  • Nehemiah 9:5 Your version is a blend of phrases. KJV is more formal: “Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name…”

  • Ephesians 1:3 Your version uses “in Christ” and “spiritual blessing,” which is closer to NKJV or ESV. KJV: “…who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

  • Revelation 5:13 Your version is close, but KJV uses: “…Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne…”

  • 1 Chronicles 29:10–11 Your version is a paraphrase. KJV is more formal: “Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father, for ever and ever…”

  • Psalm 145:1–2 Your version: “I will extol You…” KJV: “I will extol thee, my God, O king…”

I Love My Heavenly Father

I Love My Heavenly Father

*(Verse 1)*
I love my Heavenly Father,
He watches over me.
He knows my heart, He holds my hand,
He helps and comforts me.

*(Chorus)*
I lift my voice to praise Him,
To him my heart belongs.
I love my Heavenly Father—
In joy I sing with song.

*(Verse 2)*
He walks with me through valleys,
He shines when skies are gray.
He whispers truth and fills my soul,
He's with me ev'ry day.

*(Chorus)*
I lift my voice to praise Him,
To him my heart belongs.
I love my Heavenly Father—
In joy I sing with song.

*(Bridge)*
Even when I’m quiet,
He hears my ev'ry prayer.
I feel His love around me—
I know He’s always there.

*(Final Chorus)*
I lift my voice to praise Him,
To him my heart belongs.
I love my Heavenly Father—
In joy I sing with song.

When Morning First Began

When Morning First Began

Verse 1

When morning first began, no echo touched the air,

No river ran with laughter, no sky knew how to share.

But Love stood still in silence, a spark behind the veil—

A whisper not yet spoken, a story to unveil.

Chorus

Then light came dancing over hills,

The oceans clapped, the stars stood still.

From breath and dust, a soul was made,

And heaven sang in bright cascade.

Oh, the glory—oh, the plan,

It all began… when morning first began

Verse 2

No meadow knew the dew, no tree had touched the sun,

No foot had met the garden, no race had yet begun.

But mercy dreamed of rainbows, and grace composed the breeze,

The Maker wrote the rhythm beneath unfathomed seas.

Chorus (repeat)

Then light came dancing over hills,

The oceans clapped, the stars stood still.

From breath and dust, a soul was made,

And heaven sang in bright cascade.

Oh, the glory—oh, the plan,

It all began… when morning first began.

Bridge

So if you find your night too long,

Remember where the world found song.

Before the sun, shined out it’s rays.

We were called to bring Him praise.

Final Chorus (soft and slow)

Then hope came rising with the day,

Creation bowed, and skies gave way.

Love reached down and gently ran,

To greet your heart… when morning first began.

Look and See

In the book of St John 1:11-12, it says.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:

When we believe in Christ as our Saviour, God gives us power to become his child.
We are not his child until we believe and trust upon Christ for salvation.
If Jesus was not born we would not of had power to become God's Child.
God chose adoption and we are adopted as sons and daughters.

Joseph is an example of God.  He accepted Jesus as his earthly son.  Joseph loved him as his own and watched over him also as his Saviour.  Go so loved and Joseph so loved.

Look and See

Look and see, this joyous day, the Infant Christ is here.

The angel’s voices could be heard from the gates of pearly white.

Look and see, in Mother’s arms, the promised child from God.

Glory Halleluiah Christ was born upon this bless-ed night.

Oh, Glory Halleluiah Christ is born, let us rejoice, Christ is born.

The promised child was given, the promised child from heaven.

The Messiah is here! The Messiah is here

and our hearts are filled with joy!

Hello, nice to meet you, we are shepherds from the field.

With gladness, we are here this night to see God’s promise fulfilled.

Thank you, God, for sending us this perfect baby boy.

A gift of love, A gift of peace, a gift of hope, and great joy.

Oh, Glory Halleluiah Christ is born, let us rejoice, Christ is born.

The promised child was given, the promised child from heaven.

The Messiah is here! The Messiah is here

and our hearts are filled with joy!

I am Joseph the protector of our newborn King.

God has chosen me for this family, for this miracle

This is Jesus, light of my life, Saviour of my soul.

I am his earthly father and I know; that I love him so.

Oh, Glory Halleluiah Christ is born, let us rejoice, Christ is born.

The promised child was given, the promised child from heaven.

The Messiah is here! The Messiah is here

and our hearts are filled with joy!

Look and see, the infant child that God has given me.

I am most favored to cradle my Savior and to worship him.

Look and know, that God loves us so, for Jesus is here.

Glory Halleluiah Christ is born, born to save us from our sin.

Oh, Glory Halleluiah Christ is born, let us rejoice, Christ is born.

The promised child was given, the promised child from heaven.

The Messiah is here! The Messiah is here

and our hearts are filled with joy!

Christmas Song or Dramatic Reading

December 10, 2022©

I read this as a dramatic reading this morning in church.
Read with a lot of feeling and emotion.

Luke 2:7-11
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Thoughts About Thanksgiving Yesterday and Today

Thank God for Family

Thank God for Food

Memory Verse Helps
Print Two

At the beginning of your lesson:
Use one to read out loud having
the kids repeat after you.

Cut one into words
for the memory verse chart.
(picture above)

Read the verse together once.
Then have a child remove a word.
Read the verse again, then remove another word.
Keep on doing the same thing until all the words are gone.
By the end, they should be able to recite the verse
without reading them.

You can find a memory verse chart from
"Regular Baptist Press"
Shrink the verse by 70 -75%
If you do not have a memory verse chart.
Tape the pieces in order ahead of time onto this lined paper below.
Treat it just like a memory verse chart.
This is a way to do it without buying a chart.
Laminate your chart.
Print the chart as a full page.

Have a child remove one word.
Say the verse together.
Proceed until all the words are gone.
They should be able to say the verse by the end of this game
without any words. Say it all together as a group.
Then choose children who want to say it alone.

If they are on time:
Jumping into the ball pit is going to be their reward this week.

Thoughts About Thanksgiving Yesterday and Today

God wants us to be thankful, not just thankful but thankful to him.  Thank him for every moment you have to be with your family.  Love them and cherish them because you never know if it will be the last day to express your love to them. Thanksgiving is nearing and set aside as a day to thank God.  We thank God for family.

When the pilgrims settled into this country, they seriously lost family members to the flu and other illnesses.  They went through great hardship but yet they gathered together after losing people that they loved to give thanks to God.   God had provided a beautiful amount of food and new friends.  Friends who were different than they were yet they gathered together to worship God.  Some of them lost a mother, some a husband, some a sister, some a brother, some another.  They grieved but did not forget to give thanks for each other and all God's mercy and supplements.  God basically gave them enough food for a feast.  More so than they could possibly eat.   They began a new life, in a new place.  It was like being in another world to them.

I wonder how many of us feel the same way.  Covid has changed everything, it seems as though the devil has gotten some foothold through it all.   You know the devil lives off of fear, off of anger and bitterness.

We need to remember to thank God for our family and all God’s blessings.  We need to be thankful for our country, which has been able to freely worship God for centuries.  We need to pray that the devil won’t get a stronghold on our country.  God does amazing things when we praise him, he has answered many a prayer that has included praise but God wants us to get our hearts right in order to accept that praise.  We can’t have hatred in our hearts for our brothers and sisters in the Lord or in our families.   The bible says he will not hear our prayers if we regard iniquity in our hearts.

As we gather together as families to honor our Lord.  It’s not just about the feast, but all about our God who watches over us, who says, that the rocks will cry out in praise to him if there is a refusal to praise him.

Follow Here:------Give Thanks unto The Lord Poem/Song

We thank thee our Father, for all these things.  Our family, to love and to hold. Our home, in which we find rest. Our friends in whom you have given. The food, clothing, and physical needs that you have supplied from year to year, now and in the future.  Thank you, Lord God, for your loving-kindness to us.  Thank you for dying for our sins and forgiving all those who trust in you.  Mostly Thank-you for you!  Lord God, thank you for being here for us, to comfort us when our hearts are broken, or to joy with us when we rejoice. Thank you for always being here with us even through our tears.

Thanksgiving Day is a day to celebrate your blessings to us and you are our greatest blessing forever and always.   Amen

Psalms 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
