Removing The Little Foxes

Song 2:15 - Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
Let us think of the grapes as children. Protecting our children from other beliefs other than the truth of the word. The foxes are cute but they are enemies of the vine.
We are reminded that we must remove the foxes from the vine because the fruit will be ruined.

To Obey is Better Than Sacrifice
(The Little Foxes)

Jonah ran from what God wanted him to do. When Jonah ran away, he was being rebellious to what God wanted him to do. God would not let Jonah rebel without consequences. God prepared a great fish ahead of time and God had that great fish swallow him.
God gave Jonah a choice, you either obey me or you're going to die. Jonah then became obedient. This is just one of many stories about disobedience. The other person I'd like to mention is King Saul,
Samuel the profit visited King Saul one day and King Saul was bragging about all his sacrifices to God. Samuel told King Saul that he was in rebellion against God. He wasn't willing to do things God's way. He would not obey God but He would make sacrifices.
Samuel told King Saul He was rebellious and God no longer wanted him as King. He told him rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. He went on and on about the sacrifices he had made but did not obey God. God wants us to obey and do things his way. Jesus said, if you love me you will obey me.
John 1:17
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
John 2:1
Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
John 2:10 And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

When my girls were little, we let our kids watch some of the shows that had witchcraft, but my heart just didn't feel happy about it because the Bible teaches us that it is a sin. I allowed it for a while but chose to apologize to my kids and told them we are not going to watch this anymore. I told them ahead of time, we weren't going to discuss it. If they cried, I told them they would get a spanking.
I asked them to forgive me for making the wrong choice of letting it in. When you let things come into your home, then it becomes hard to get it out of your home. I wanted to please God with my life and I wanted my kids to love God. Rebellion is compared to witchcraft. These are sins that put the person's own will above God's will.

Love Of Money
The Little Foxes

1Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The love of money is a very dangerous thing. The Bible teaches us that the love of money is the root of ALL evil. the reason criminals happen is that they are controlled by money. I heard recently of young adults stealing brand-new cars off the dealership parking lot.
They have been creative in the wrong way. Caniving and coming up with money-making ideas. If they feel that someone is in their way they will try to get rid of the person that they feel is a threat to them. The love of money can lead them to do many things, they learn to take advantage of the vulnerable. They could enslave a person without them ever knowing it. Some of these money-making rich kids are brilliant and creative in doing evil things.

King Solomon

Removing The Little Foxes

Solomon was concerned for his children. He had seven hundred wives and 300 concubines. The Bible does not give a clear account of how many children Solomon had.
Solomon had married into many religions and beliefs.
The palace had idols in it and confusion. Solomon wanted the false teaching and the idols removed from the palace. He wanted anything removed that would bring harm to his tender grape clusters. If all his wives had children, it would be 700 clusters of grapes. Remove the foxes. He wanted his children to know the true God and wanted to be blessed by God. He wanted the idols and anything else removed that could harm his children. He wanted his children to be raised the way he wanted them raised.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Now this is only for people who really want to serve God and please God with their lives. We want to protect our tender grapes. We would need to remove the little foxes from our home. Anything that is contrary to what God wants you to teach. Bad Tv, Bad Music, Bad books. Anything evil or weird. Whatever you know God would not approve of. We need to love God and forsake evil.

If you do this with our blogs or Facebook we can keep a safer place that is closed for our clusters. No bad links to other religions or beliefs, no bad links to witchcraft or false ideas.

Solomon was a very wise man, he was blessed with wisdom.
Solomon was out of God's will when he chose to wed all those women.
He pretty much put his wisdom over God's in the area of marriage.
However, God used Solomon as a way to teach us.

A Vine of Blessing

A Vine Of Blessing

I found a blessing in my garden;
It was a pleasant  surprise.
I saw a lovely flower blooming;
It was then I realized.

It wasn't just some random flower;
It was  a pumpkin vine.
I felt blest to see a pumpkin bloom;
At this late season of time.

The leaves are falling from the tree tops;
Autumn's flowers seem to wait.
I wonder if it will grow a pumpkin;
If the snow will hesitate.

Even so I'm happy just to know;
That God blesses our good deeds.
Even through a growing pumpkin vine;
A vine of truth, a faithful seed.
.
God does not forget a work of faith;
That by grace and faith was sewn.
It will one day bear fruit blest by God;
Even if it is on its own.

One day we will just be a memory;
But faithful fruit will last.
Even through a lonely seed planted;
By God on our behalf.

Song

 Hebrews 6:10
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
