Children and a Castle Snow Coloring Page

Psalm 51:7
_David's plea for purification is beautifully captured in this verse. The imagery of being washed whiter than snow evokes a sense of profound transformation and renewal. Just as snow covers the earth in pristine white, God's forgiveness can cleanse us completely, making us pure in His sight. This transformation is possible because God sees us through the sacrifice Jesus paid for our sins. Jesus' atonement allows us to be forgiven and made new, Making possible God's boundless mercy. Despite our shortcomings, we can be restored and made whole through His grace._

The Key to The Treasure Part 1

Dedicated to all my family including the Barker family love you forever.

The Key to The Treasure

**Part 1: The Treasure of Faith and Community**

In the small, historic town of Willow Creek, hints of an unsolved mystery had lingered for decades. The story revolved around an old antique box that had captured the curiosity of residents and visitors alike. According to an aged newspaper article, the ornate box was discovered in the attic of the town's oldest mansion during a renovation in the early 1900s.

The box, crafted with stunning detail and adorned with beautiful art, was unlike anything the townspeople had ever seen. Its allure was heightened by the note, carefully wax-sealed underneath the box, which read: "This box must be opened with the key, kept in the small drawer of the old oak desk." Despite their best efforts, the owners of the mansion and subsequent treasure hunters never found the elusive key. The desk, which was also part of the mansion's antique collection, had been searched thoroughly, but the key has not been found.

One day months after reading about the mysterious treasure box, Emma and Liam were playing at the old wooden playground in Willow Creek, a place where they often built sandcastles and chased each other around. The playground was surrounded by tall oak trees, their leaves rustling in the gentle breeze. The sun shone brightly, casting playful shadows on the ground as the children's laughter echoed across the park.

As they dug into the sand near the swings, Liam suddenly hit something hard and metallic. "Emma, come look at this!" he called out, his voice filled with excitement. Emma hurried over, her eyes wide with curiosity. Together, they carefully excavated the object and discovered an old, rusty key.

Emma: (holding the rusty key) "Liam, look at this! It's an old key. I wonder what it opens."

Liam: (examining the key) "Wow, it looks really ancient. Do you think it belongs to something important?"

Emma: "Maybe it opens a treasure chest! Or an old, secret door!"

Liam: "That would be so cool! But where do you think it came from?"

Emma: "I don’t know, do you think it could be from that old mansion everyone talks about?"

Liam: (thinking) "Hey, remember that newspaper article we saw at the library? The one about the antique box that no one could open because they needed the key?"

Emma: (excitedly) "You're right, wouldn't it be exciting if this is the key? It said the box had to be opened with a key that was supposed to be in an old desk, but they never found it!"

Liam: "Do you think this could be that key?"

Emma: "I don’t know but I sure hope it is!” We have to show this to Mom and Dad right away!"

Liam: "Let’s go! This could be the key to solving the town's greatest mystery!"

Excited by their find, Emma and Liam rushed home to show their parents. Their mother, a local historian, immediately recognized the key's significance. She explained that it might be the long-lost key to the mysterious antique box that had intrigued the townsfolk for generations. She emphasized the importance of honoring the original owner's wishes and respecting the value of the mystery the box held for the community, much like the Biblical principle of honoring one's heritage and the teachings of past generations (Proverbs 22:28).

With the key in hand, Emma, Liam, and their parents made their way to the town's museum. The curator, equally astonished by the discovery, allowed them to try the key on the box. With bated breath, they inserted the key into the lock and turned it. To everyone's amazement, the lock clicked open.

Inside the box, they found an assortment of treasures: an old diary, a collection of antique coins, and a beautifully crafted locket. They also found love letters from a husband to his beloved wife. Their marriage was founded on godliness and honor. He was away often, but his love was expressed through his beautiful writings. The letters and diary highlighted the importance of respecting and cherishing loved ones, even from afar, reflecting the Biblical truth of loving and honoring one another (Ephesians 5:25-33).

In one of the letters, the husband expressed his earnest desire for their children to be taught the values of trust and honesty. He urged his wife to teach them Biblical values and the way of salvation. He desired with all his heart that their eleven children would be saved, and he named them all in the letters, praying for each one individually. Their names were: Samuel, Grace, Benjamin, Faith, Daniel, Hope, Isaac, Joy, Luke, Patience, and Ruth. This profound expression of faith and love served as a powerful reminder of the importance of instilling godly values and the teachings of salvation in future generations.

In another letter, filled with sadness, the husband's commanding officer, Ed Worthy, informed his wife that he had died while fighting for his country. He described the skirmish of that day, detailing how her husband and his comrades had bravely faced the enemy to save many lives. Despite their efforts, her husband sacrificed his own life so that others could live. The letter was dated June 17, 1775, during the Battle of Bunker Hill in the American Revolutionary War. This poignant message underscored the ultimate act of love and self-sacrifice, reflecting the Biblical principle of laying down one's life for others (John 15:13).

"My dearest Mrs. Barker,

It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of the passing of your beloved husband, Edward Winston Barker. He fought bravely on the battlefield, facing the enemy with unwavering courage and determination. On the fateful day of June 17, 1775, during the Battle of Bunker Hill, your husband's valor saved many lives, but alas, he sacrificed his own so that others might live.

Please know that his comrades and I hold his memory in the highest esteem. His actions were a testament to his character, embodying the principles of duty, honor, and sacrifice. Your husband shall forever be remembered as a hero, and his legacy shall live on in the hearts of those he saved.

He loved his family and he loved his country. May the Lord grant you strength and comfort during this difficult time.

With deepest condolences, Ed Worthy, Commanding Officer"

Inside the box, alongside the letters and treasures, were several old photographs. These pictures were not found inside the treasure box; instead, the museum had commissioned an artist to paint pictures of Edward and Gracelin Barker as they might have looked in that time. The photos were taken of the large paintings hanging in the museum, adding a touch of historical context and imagination to the display. The photographs captured moments of love and joy, including a family gathering around a grand oak tree, the husband and wife on their wedding day, and their children playing in the fields. Each picture told a story of a life well-lived, filled with love and cherished memories.

The diary revealed the story of a long-lost ancestor who had hidden these items as a keepsake for future generations. It detailed the ancestor's adventures and the love they had for their family and town, emphasizing the values of honor, respect, and dedication.

The discovery not only solved the mystery of the box but also connected Emma, Liam, and their family to their heritage in a profound way. The townsfolk celebrated the unearthing of the box's secrets, and it became a beloved tale that would be passed down through generations. It reminded everyone of the importance of history, family, respect, and the joy of discovery, echoing the Biblical principle of honoring one's past and living with integrity (Proverbs 20:7).

As the display of items found inside the treasure box became the talk of the town, the museum welcomed a steady stream of curious visitors. One day, a newspaper man arrived at the museum, intrigued by the story. He carefully examined the treasures, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

As he approached Emma and Liam, he spoke in a hushed tone, "You two must be the young adventurers who discovered the key."

Emma and Liam nodded eagerly.

The newspaper man leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper, "I've heard a rumor that the old mansion is haunted by Edward Barker. They say he's been searching for his beloved wife and children for centuries."

Emma's eyes widened in surprise, and Liam's jaw dropped. "Really?" Emma asked, her voice filled with both excitement and a hint of apprehension.

The newspaper man nodded solemnly. "That's what they say. If you listen closely, you might hear his footsteps echoing through the halls at night."

Liam glanced at Emma, his eyes sparkling with intrigue. "Do you think it's true?"

Emma shrugged, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and excitement. "I don't know, but I guess there's only one way to find out."

The children exchanged a determined look, their imaginations running wild with the possibilities of another adventure. As they left the museum, they couldn't help but wonder what secrets the old mansion still held and whether they were brave enough to uncover them.

And so, a new mystery began to unfold, waiting for Emma and Liam to explore.

### Devotional Reading: The Legacy of Love and Faith

**Scripture References (KJV 1611):**

- Proverbs 22:28: "Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set."

- Ephesians 5:25: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it."

- John 15:13: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

- Proverbs 20:7: "The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him."

- 1 Corinthians 15:20: "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."

In the enchanting story of Emma and Liam, we find a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of family heritage, love, and unwavering faith. The children's discovery of the rusty old key leads them on an adventure that uncovers the treasures of their ancestors, Edward Winston Barker and Gracelin Ann Barker. Through their journey, profound Biblical truths and lessons emerge, offering us a heartwarming reminder of the legacy of love and faith.

**The Greatest Lesson: Salvation Through Christ**

At the heart of this tale is the parallel of salvation. Edward Barker's sacrificial love for his family and country reflects the ultimate sacrifice of Christ for our sins. As the commanding officer's letter reveals Edward's bravery and selflessness during the Battle of Bunker Hill, we are reminded of Jesus' words in John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." Just as Edward gave his life to save others, Christ laid down His life for our salvation.

The love letters and diary writings further emphasize the importance of godly values and the teachings of salvation. Edward's earnest desire for his children to know Christ as their Savior echoes the Biblical truth of passing on faith to future generations. His prayers for his children, by name, remind us of the personal and intimate relationship we can have with our Heavenly Father through Christ.

**The Key to True Treasure: Jesus Christ**

As Emma and Liam discovered the rusty old key that unlocked the family treasures, we are reminded that Jesus Christ is the true key to the greatest treasure—eternal life. Just as the key opened the box revealing hidden treasures and stories of love, Jesus opens the door to salvation, revealing the abundant life He offers to all who believe. In John 10:9, Jesus says, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." Through Christ, we gain access to the eternal treasures of God's kingdom.

**The Resurrection of Christ**

The story also highlights the hope we have in the resurrection of Christ. As Edward and Gracelin's love story unfolds, we see a reflection of God's love for us. Ephesians 5:25 reminds us, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it." Just as Edward's love for his family transcended time and sacrifice, Christ's love for us conquered death and sin.

In 1 Corinthians 15:20, we are assured of the resurrection: "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept." This resurrection promise gives us hope that we will one day be reunited with our loved ones who knew Christ as their Savior. The faith and love that Edward and Gracelin lived by remind us of the eternal bond we share with our family in Christ. It's comforting to know that Gracelin and her beloved husband are again together forevermore.

**The Love Story and God's Love for Us**

Edward and Gracelin's love story, captured in the artist's paintings and the treasures they left behind, beautifully mirrors God's love for us. Their commitment to each other, their family, and their faith serves as an enduring testament to the power of love rooted in godliness. Proverbs 20:7 reminds us, "The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him." Their legacy of love and faith is a blessing that continues to inspire and guide their descendants.

As Emma and Liam embark on their new mystery, they carry with them the lessons of honor, respect, and dedication. Their journey is a reflection of the greater adventure of faith we all undertake, guided by the love of Christ and the heritage of those who came before us.

May this story remind us of the importance of honoring our past, living with integrity, and embracing the salvation and love offered to us through Christ. As we journey through life, may we always remember the profound truth of John 15:13 and the hope of the resurrection that awaits us.

In 2010, in the vast wilderness of Kenya's Amboseli National Park, a remarkable incident took place that showcased the empathy and intelligence of elephants. A young elephant named Zongoloni found herself stuck in a muddy waterhole, unable to free herself. Her desperate cries for help attracted the attention of a nearby herd of elephants, including her mother, Zombe.

The matriarch of the herd, named Echo, quickly took charge of the situation. Echo and the other elephants worked together, using their trunks and immense strength to pull Zongoloni out of the mud. After several attempts and coordinated efforts, they managed to rescue her. Zongoloni, covered in mud but unharmed, was reunited with her grateful mother and the rest of the herd.

This heartwarming story highlights the strong social bonds and cooperative behavior of elephants. Their ability to work together to help one of their own is a testament to their intelligence, empathy, and the deep connections they share within their families.

 Real-Life Story 2: Kham La's Heroic Rescue

In 2016, in the beautiful sanctuary of the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand, an elephant named Kham La became a hero. Kham La was part of a herd of rescued elephants living in the sanctuary. One day, a young boy accidentally fell into a river near the park. The strong current began to sweep him away, and the boy struggled to stay afloat.

Kham La, who was nearby, heard the boy's cries for help. Without hesitation, she waded into the river, using her powerful trunk to keep the boy's head above water. With her gentle strength, Kham La guided the boy to the riverbank, where he was safely pulled out by the park staff.

The boy was unharmed, thanks to Kham La's quick thinking and brave actions. The story of Kham La's heroic rescue spread quickly, earning her admiration and love from people around the world. This incredible event highlighted the intelligence, empathy, and protective nature of elephants.

Real-Life Story 3: Mulika and Sities

In 2012, in the heart of the African wilderness, a remarkable event unfolded in Kenya's Samburu National Reserve. A baby elephant named Sities found herself in grave danger when she became trapped in a muddy waterhole. The young calf was unable to free herself and cried out in distress.

Her cries were heard by a nearby herd of elephants, led by a matriarch named Mulika. Without hesitation, Mulika and the other elephants responded speedily. The elephants used their trunks and immense strength to carefully lift Sities out of the mud. With great effort and coordination, they managed to rescue the young calf and bring her to safety.

But the story didn't end there. Mulika and the herd stayed with Sities, comforting her and making sure she was unharmed. They formed a protective circle around her, showing a deep sense of care and compassion. The bond between the elephants was evident, and their actions highlighted the incredible empathy and social connections that elephants share.

This touching rescue was witnessed by researchers and conservationists, who were moved by the elephants' display of love and unity. The story of Sities and her rescuers serves as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary compassion and intelligence of elephants.

 Real-Life Story 4: Kanjirangad's Remorse

In India, there was an elephant named Kanjirangad. One day, Kanjirangad was part of a ceremonial procession in a bustling town. The loud noises and crowded streets made the usually calm elephant agitated. In a moment of fear and confusion, Kanjirangad accidentally knocked over a cart, causing some damage and scaring the townspeople.

The mahout (elephant caretaker), who had a deep bond with Kanjirangad, quickly calmed him down. Once the situation was under control, Kanjirangad seemed to realize the trouble he had caused. In a remarkable display of intelligence and remorse, Kanjirangad gently approached the overturned cart and tried to lift it with his trunk, as if to fix the damage.

The townspeople were amazed by the elephant's behavior and were moved by his apparent regret. They forgave Kanjirangad, understanding that it was an accident. This story highlights the incredible intelligence and emotional capacity of elephants, showing that they can experience and express complex feelings such as remorse.

5. Here's a real-life story about an elephant that teaches a valuable lesson:

In 2007, in the jungles of Assam, India, a young elephant named Raju found himself in a perilous situation. Raju had been separated from his herd and wandered into a village, where he became agitated and frightened by the unfamiliar surroundings. In his distress, Raju caused some damage to the villagers' crops and property.

Instead of reacting with anger, the villagers showed remarkable compassion and understanding. They called upon a local wildlife rescue team to help guide Raju back to safety. The team, along with the villagers, worked patiently to calm Raju and lead him back to the forest where he belonged.

Once back in the safety of the forest, Raju seemed to realize the kindness that had been shown to him. He trumpeted softly, almost as if to express gratitude. This story not only highlights the importance of empathy and patience when dealing with animals but also teaches us the value of coexistence and understanding between humans and wildlife.

The villagers' compassionate response and Raju's subsequent calmness serve as a powerful reminder that kindness and patience can overcome fear and aggression, fostering a sense of harmony and mutual respect.

A Pretend Storys About Elephants

Pretend Story 1: Elara the Elephant

In the heart of the lush African savanna lived a wise and gentle elephant named Elara. One hot afternoon, as Elara strolled through the tall grass, she heard a faint cry for help. Following the sound, she came upon a small, frightened gazelle trapped in a muddy pit. Without hesitation, Elara extended her strong trunk down into the pit and gently wrapped it around the gazelle. With great care and effort, she lifted the gazelle out of the mud, placing it safely on solid ground. The gazelle, overwhelmed with gratitude, thanked Elara for her kindness. Elara smiled and reminded the gazelle that in the vast wilderness, it was important to look out for one another. From that day on, Elara became known as the guardian of the savanna, always ready to lend a helping trunk to those in need.

Melvin’s Story of Patience

Melvin’s Story of Patience

*Dedicated With Love to: Anna and Ben*

Once upon a time in a peaceful meadow, there lived a wise and slow-moving turtle named Melvin. Melvin was known for his gentle nature and endless patience. He had many friends in the meadow, including Rosie the Rabbit, Freddie the Frog, Benny the Bird, Hooty the Owl, and Amanda the Deer.

One sunny afternoon, Melvin and his friends decided to have a picnic by the river. Everyone was excited and eager to get there quickly, except for Melvin, who moved at his usual, slow pace.

"Come on, Melvin! Hurry up!" Rosie the Rabbit called out impatiently.

Freddie the Frog hopped over and said, "Yeah, Melvin! At this rate, we'll never get to the picnic spot."

Benny the Bird flew down and added, "Why do you always move so slowly, Melvin?"

Hooty the Owl, perched on a nearby tree, wisely chimed in, "Patience, my friends. Sometimes, taking our time can lead to the best results."

Amanda the Deer, nibbling on some flowers, looked up and said, "Hooty is right. We should enjoy the day and the beautiful flowers along the way."

Melvin smiled calmly and replied, "Thank you, Hooty and Amanda. Let's all be patient and appreciate each moment together."

The friends sighed but decided to listen to Hooty and Amanda and wait for Melvin. As they walked, they came across a beautiful flower patch. Rosie, Freddie, and Benny ran ahead, eager to explore, while Melvin took his time to admire each flower. Amanda couldn't resist munching on some of the flowers.

"Look at these flowers!" Melvin said. "Aren't they beautiful? We might have missed them if we rushed."

Rosie, Freddie, and Benny realized that Melvin, Hooty, and Amanda were right. They appreciated the flowers and picked a few to take to the picnic (with Amanda's approval, of course).

Finally, they arrived at the riverbank and set up their picnic. As they enjoyed their food, Benny noticed a turtle egg nearby.

"Oh no! This egg is all alone. What should we do?" Benny asked.

Hooty the Owl wisely responded, "We need to be patient and wait for the mother turtle to return. Rushing won't help."

As they were waiting, a large hawk spotted the egg from an oak tree and swooped down, trying to snatch it. The friends sprang into action, running with the egg in alarm to carry it to safety. The hawk didn't seem to give up easily, but they managed to protect the egg by hiding it under some bushes.

Just when they thought the danger had passed, the hawk made another attempt to grab the egg. Freddie the Frog started to panic. "We need to do something fast! This hawk won't give up!"

Hooty calmly said, "Stay calm, everyone. Let's keep the egg safe and trust that help will come."

Freddie, feeling anxious, prayed, "Dear God, please protect this turtle egg and bring the mother turtle here safely and soon. Amen."

They continued to wait patiently, keeping a close watch on the egg.

While they waited for the mother turtle to return, an amazing thing happened. Melvin checked on the egg and found something new: the cutest little baby turtle had hatched! "Awww, look! How sweet!" Melvin exclaimed.

Rosie, Freddie, Benny, Amanda, and Hooty all gathered around to see the baby turtle. "It's the cutest little baby turtle," Rosie said. "I wonder what Mama Turtle will name him?"

After a while, the mother turtle appeared, and she was grateful to see her baby safe and sound. "Thank you for watching over my egg," the mother turtle said. "Your patience and bravery have made all the difference."

With love and welcoming, she looked at the baby turtle and said, "I'll name him after you, Melvin. Meet little Melvy."

The friends all laughed with joy at the baby's new name, sharing delighted reactions and warm smiles.

The mother turtle then nuzzled her baby gently and said, "Welcome to the world, my sweet Melvy. You are a precious blessing, and I will always love you dearly."

Hooty then reminded everyone, "Patience truly pays off. Remember the scripture: 'But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.' (James 1:4)"

After the excitement, the friends decided to share their favorite ways to practice patience.

Rosie said, "I like to take deep breaths and count to ten when I'm feeling impatient."

Freddie added, "I hop around and sing a little tune to keep myself calm."

Benny chirped, "I remind myself to enjoy my surroundings and look for something interesting to observe."

Amanda smiled and said, "I munch on flowers and remind myself that good things take time."

Melvin nodded and said, "I take slow, steady steps and enjoy the day."

Rosie, Freddie, Benny, and Amanda smiled and realized the importance of patience. They enjoyed the rest of their picnic, knowing that sometimes, taking things slow can lead to wonderful experiences and valuable lessons.

From that day on, Melvin's friends appreciated his slow and steady nature, and they often turned to Hooty for wise advice. Amanda continued to enjoy munching on flowers while reminding her friends to take their time and appreciate the little things.

"Just be sure to leave some flowers for the rest of us, Amanda!" Freddie joked. "You're pigging out on flower salad!"

They all laughed and learned that patience is a virtue and that good things come to those who wait.

- "The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit." (Ecclesiastes 7:8)

- "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass." (Psalms 37:7)

**Bible Story Parallel:**

The story of Job (Book of Job) is a powerful example of patience and faith. Job endured immense suffering and loss, yet he remained patient and faithful to God. In the end, Job's patience was rewarded, and God restored his fortunes, giving him twice as much as he had before. This story beautifully illustrates the importance of patience and trusting in God's plan.

**Lola the Llama:** (nervously) Whiskers, I have something to tell you... I accidentally spilled water all over your drawing. The one you worked so hard on for the art contest. I'm really, really sorry!

**Whiskers the Cat:** (angry and upset) My drawing?! Lola, that was important! How could you be so careless?

**Ollie the Owl:** (calmly) Let's take a deep breath, everyone. Remember, we all make mistakes. It's important to show love and forgiveness, just like Jesus taught us. Remember how Jesus forgave those who wronged Him.

**Lola the Llama:** (sadly) I truly didn't mean to, Whiskers. Can we practice apologizing?

**Whiskers the Cat:** (frustrated) Fine, but you better get it right.

**Lola the Llama:** (thinking) Uh... Whiskers, I'm sorry I... um... "waterized" your drawing?

**Whiskers the Cat:** (raising an eyebrow) Waterized? That's not even a word, Lola.

**Ollie the Owl:** (smiling) Keep trying, Lola. You'll get it right.

**Lola the Llama:** (nervously) Okay, okay. Whiskers, I'm sorry I... turned your drawing into a... um... water park?

**Whiskers the Cat:** (sighing) Lola, focus! It was an accident, just say that.

**Lola the Llama:** (embarrassed) Right, right. I'm sorry I accidentally spilled water on your drawing. Can you forgive me?

**Whiskers the Cat:** (thinking) Hmm... Why do you keep licking your paws, Lola?

**Lola the Llama:** (confused) Uh, never mind. Let's get back to apologizing. Whiskers, I'm sorry I... uh... cat-tastrophized your drawing?

**Whiskers the Cat:** (laughing) Cat-tastrophized? That's creative, but not quite right.

**Ollie the Owl:** (chuckling) Apologizing can be hard, but you're doing great. Keep practicing.

**Lola the Llama:** (frustrated) Okay, okay. Whiskers, I'm sorry I... accidentally made your drawing wetter than a fish in the sea.

**Whiskers the Cat:** (trying not to laugh) Well, that's one way to put it. Let's try again.

**Lola the Llama:** (deep breath) Whiskers, I'm really sorry for spilling water on your drawing. I didn't mean to, and I hope you can forgive me. Just like Jesus forgave those who wronged Him.

**Whiskers the Cat:** (softening) Alright, Lola. I forgive you. It was just a drawing, and you're more important to me than any drawing.

**Lola the Llama:** (relieved) Thank you, Whiskers! I'll help you make a new one for the contest.

**Ollie the Owl:** (proudly) That's the spirit! Showing love and forgiveness makes friendships stronger.

**Whiskers the Cat:** (smiling) Yes, let's make an even better drawing together, Lola. Oh, by the way, why do you keep licking your paws?

**Lola the Llama:** (blushing) I... I just get nervous! Let's get back to the drawing!

**Whiskers the Cat:** (teasing) Do llamas even have paws?

**Ollie the Owl:** (laughing) Well, this llama does!

(All three characters laugh together)

**Lola the Llama:** (happily) Thank you, Ollie. Let's get started, Whiskers!

(All three characters start singing and dancing around, to the tune of "The Farmer in the Dell")

**All together:**
🎶 A-coloring we go, a-coloring we go,
Hi-ho the derry-o, a-coloring we go! 🎶

**Scripture References:**
- "Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." (Colossians 3:13)
- "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." (Ephesians 4:32)
- "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8)

**Bible Story Parallels:**
The story of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) is a wonderful example that parallels the theme of love and forgiveness. In this parable, Jesus tells of a son who asks for his inheritance and then squanders it in reckless living. When he realizes his mistakes and returns home, his father welcomes him back with open arms, showing immense love and forgiveness. This story beautifully illustrates the message of showing love and forgiveness, just as the father forgives his son and rejoices at his return.
