I have a cold but I was able to sing this song today.
I Will Dwell In The House Of The Lord

I Will Worship You Lord (Praise Chorus)

David Continually Says "I Will" in the Word of God.  When our will meets God's will it is good,
but when our will is contrary to God's that is when "I will" is bad.

Worship is a life devotion and love for God
above anything else.  Giving God your full attention in prayer, praise, and devotion.
Giving Him first place in your heart and mind.
You can not have true worship until your heart is worshipping Him first.
Your worship will show in your obedience to God.

What is wrong on this page?
We need to leave the I out of worship.
How do we spell worship?
It is correct to keep I out of worship,
(I=selfish motivation)
God sees the motive - God sees the heart.
He knows if it's about yourself
 or if it's about Him.

However, it is incorrect if the i is
missing from the word worship.
The letter i cannot be replaced with any other letter
because the letter i belongs there and the letter o does not.

Psalms 138:2
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise
thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth:
for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Worship is a life devotion and love for God
above anything else.

Doubting Thomas Activities

John 20:24-25
But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

The other disciples, therefore, said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

 John 20:29
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Langly Bear Loses His Cool (Puppet Show)

I can not put this on audio right now- I have a horrible cold.

Langly Bear Loses His Cool
Being Patient

Narration:
Guess what everyone, something's wrong with Langly!
Who knows what it is?  He's been out kickin' at stumps all day long!
Something's going on and Hooty the Owl is determined to find out what's wrong with his friend.

Hooty:  Hey Langly! Langly!  When you get tired of kickin' at stumps, come on over here and let's talk a bit.  What's wrong with you anyway?
Your toe already looks twice its size!  Give it a break why don't ya!
Better cut it out before you really do break it!  If ya know what I mean!
Hey Langly!  You're a grump quit kickin' stumps!  Ha Ha Ha!  Toe funny I had to laugh.

Langly: Are you having your laugh at my expense?  I've been toeing the line here and you're just sitting at the shop having a good hearty laugh.
Glad I can make you feel so good, while I'm walking around with a ball on the end of my foot.

Hooty:  Whooo, look at the bright side Langly, you could have had put your nose too close to the grindstone.   Then your nose would be too big to look past.  Which is better? big toe or big nose?  Ha Ha Ha

Langly: That's easy for you to say... For somebody so nosey! You don't even have a nose!  Quit peckin' on me! .. Quit peckin' on me! Am I your personal peckin' post or what?

Hooty:  Okay! Langly, I've got one thing to say to you.

Langly: What? Hurry Up! What?

Hooty: You've lost your cool.

Langly: Whaaaat?

Hooty:  Whooo.. Whooo... lost his cool? - you did. you did.
What are you mad at?

Langly: I'm tired of being tired!  I'm tired of diggin' for grubs!  When Papa bear gets home He wants grub on the table.  Guess who gets the grub diggin' job?  Me, myself and I.  Mama bear has put down the law!
"No fun till the job is done!"  Now my toe hurts and I'm tired.  I'm too tired to have any fun, besides my bucket's not full yet.  No time to climb trees, collect berries, look for honey or go fishing! That's no life, who wants to look at grubs all day?

Hooty: Well Langly, look at the bright side.  You still have one good toe left.  You'll get some of that grub to eat at dinner time too.

Langly: Very funny!  Hooty.

Hooty: Okay Langly,  let's pray about it?  When you've lost your cool you've lost your patience.

Langly: Okay, let's pray that God helps me find it fast.  pray for my toe too.  I've got a lot more grub diggin' to do.

Hooty: Father in heaven, help us to be patient with each other and with whatever the day brings.  Help us through our problems and help us rejoice in you. In Christ name. amen

Hooty:  We all lose our cool sometimes Langly.  That's when we need to
apologize and ask God to help us stay patient when things get hard.

Langly: Your right Hooty, besides, grubs are sounding pretty good right now.  I'm hungry for some grub!  With lots of berry butter on it.

Hooty: Whooo ever thought? Get a little hungry and things get better fast.

Narration: Looks like Langly's learning how to be patient.  We all have to learn patience and need to ask God to help us have good attitudes.  We all have things we would rather be doing, but obeying God and taking care of each other is the most important job we have.

Continue talking about prayer and choices.

Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Richard - Story of a Young Teen

Richard

Story Of A Young Teen

Richard was just like any other little boy.  He could run and jump and play. Richard was raised mostly by a single mother who loved him and took care of him. When Richard was in his early teens something changed his whole life.  He didn't know it would happen to him. He wasn't expecting it to happen to him.

Richard's friend's church had a youth activity planned for the evening and I'm sure Richard was looking forward to spending some time with his friend. When they did get together, I'm sure like most teens they were laughing and having a great time kidding and joking around like teenagers normally do. His friend's sister was with them and his friend's dad was driving.

What Richard and his friends didn't know was that there was a young suicidal mother of four children driving on the wrong side of the road and coming at them at an alarming speed. The mother had drugged all four of her children and went on a suicidal mission.

She struck the van by surprise when the tragedy took place. That very sad day all four children died that were in the car and everyone died that were riding in the van except one, Richard. The young mother lived and Richard lived.

Richard was covered by his best friends blood and he was aware that his friend was dead and had been thrown through the back of the vehicle and the van landed on top of him. He said he could smell death all around him.

Richard recalled a young red-headed man who came to his aid to comfort him while trapped inside the vehicle. The young man managed to get his hand into the van and laid his hand upon him and prayed.  Richard said He became concerned for the man because he was shaking very hard. He prayed for the man even though his own life was in jeopardy and he had lost his dear friends.

Rescue workers told Richard's mother that there was no possible way anyone could have been able to get their hand into Richard. Witnesses said that they saw no one with red hair near the vehicle at any time.  Richards mother on more than one occasion had made a request that the man come forward during television interviews.  She wanted to thank him but no one responded.  To this day Richard and his mother wonder if God had sent Richard an angel.

He was rescued but was told by doctors that he would never walk again. Richard's body was terribly mangled and twisted. His arm hung by tenants and had to be reinforced by metal stakes. He spent around six months at a children's hospital and was a roommate to a burn victim.  My husband collects pop tabs along with people from his work for burned children. Richard said he thinks about that boy every time he opens a pop can.

Now I know God doesn't always work this way, but after a time God had allowed a new bone to grow in Richards' leg.  Richards left femur was shattered but out of one of the broken pieces another bone grew and wrapped around the other broken pieces and became a complete bone. The doctor said it was miraculous. God put all the broken pieces together and it became a complete bone. He walks slightly different still to this day.  He kind of reminds me of my dad who also walked differently because of having polio in his early childhood, only Richard's limp is not as noticeable.  Anyway, for some reason, God had provided Richard with a new bone. Maybe we will never really know why, but for some reason, God wanted to do it that way.

Doctors have been able to provide artificial limbs for many people who would not be able to walk otherwise. God sometimes provides his miracles through doctors who have devoted their lives to provide a way for a disabled person to live a heather happier life. No matter how it is provided God has his hand in the details of each of our lives and has been merciful in allowing us to find a way for people with a disability to survive independently.

Richard had to grieve the loss of his precious friends. He probably wondered why he was the only survivor from the van. It took him a long time to get through the knowledge that the mother of the four children lived when she caused the death of her own children and his friends.

I will be back soon to give you an update on forgiveness.

If you have any information concerning this story please send it to susannikitenko@gmail.com as soon as possible. Thanks.   If you have anything to ask Richard yourself, please send your questions as well.

Love Those That Hurt Us

Love Those That Hurt Us

Good morning young people,

Today we are continuing our series of lessons about the power of God through His Spirit in us.   Our series began with the greatest Commandments "loving God with all our heart and loving others as Christ has loved us." I will be speaking about forgiveness again today.  Forgiveness is vital in a Christian's walk with God, for a number of reasons.  We will be talking about some of those reasons this morning.

On the first page of your folder, You will find a prayer that we are going to pray together in unison.  By praying in unison you will learn how to pray and learn about the importance of unity.  Please let us pray in agreement as we seek God's blessing on each of us this morning and upon these lessons.

Heavenly Father,  We come to you in humbleness of heart knowing none of us deserve your forgiveness.  We are grateful for your blessing upon us, your salvation, through your precious blood shed for us.  Help us to be the people you want us to be.  Teach us to walk in your Spirit and live by your power.  Help us forgive those that have hurt us because that is how you have forgiven us.  Bless all those here today with understanding and save those that need to know your salvation and your mercy.  We pray that today, each one here would commit their hearts and lives to you in both word and deed.  We pray this in Christ name Amen

I would like to remind you, before we continue, Be sure to pay attention and take notes so that you will be prepared to answer some questions at the end of this lesson.  Be sure to keep all your notes from week to week until the conclusion of this series.  You will use those notes to prepare for our "BIG DAY BIBLE BEE".   Please do not interrupt with any questions until we are open for discussion.  Thank-you.
-----
God commands for us to forgive as He has forgiven us.  So how has he forgiven us?

1. He has forgiven us when we didn't deserve it.
2. He has forgiven us and does not remember it.
3. He has forgiven us our sins
4. He forgives us patiently
5. He treats us as if we never sinned.
6. He sacrificed his life to forgive us.
7. God will bless us even when we hurt him. ( Read Romans 1:16)

Today I'm going to start with # 7 on our list.   God, sometimes will bless us when we hurt him.  The bible teaches us to bless those that hurt us.  This is a very hard thing to do, especially if it is something that has impacted change in our lives that has caused pain and trauma.   Blessing someone is not just saying bless you.  A blessing is seen in actions.
Jesus went through life-changing trauma.  He saw the faces of growling hatred towards him. He was mocked, spit upon, stripped and his clothing was gambled for, beaten with a whip, which tore his skin till bone was visible, hit,  His beard was plucked until bloody,   He could not be recognized. He was forsaken by his friends, They put a crown with huge thorns upon his head, the blood flowed down.  He was nailed to the cross, through both hands and feet.  He had to lift his body with his nailed hands and feet to take one breath and each time he needed to take another breath.
They laughed as He was going through this and made fun of him.  He was given vinegar to drink upon his cracked dry lips. Which caused burning.  He was shown no mercy.  A spear was jabbed into his side and blood and water gushed out of him.  How did Jesus bless them through the horrible pain and agony?
He prayed for them.  He prayed that God would forgive them because they didn't know what they were doing.

(Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots.)

Somebody noticed that blessing.  Not only did He witness that blessing, but He noticed Jesus forgive the repentant thief.  But it was when Jesus said it was finished.  The earth shook and the sky darkened.  The
ground opened and people arose from the dead.  The power of God was evident.  The centurion, most likely, the one that put the spear through his side, was miraculously saved along with others who were with him.  This is what He said.

(Mt 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.)

He and others with him believed upon the Son of God.  Jesus blessed those that hurt him.  Jesus prayed and people got saved. People that helped crucify him.  The people were saved because of Jesus praying.  He blessed those who hurt him.  Jesus definitely had prayer power.

--- continued tonight

The Bible teaches us that we have all sinned and sometimes even as Christians we may have failed the Lord in some area of our lives.  Sometimes it's hard to forgive ourselves.  Somehow what we have already been forgiven of, what we have already confessed.  The devil wants to bring it back up in our hearts and minds.  We are accused daily by the devil before God.  God doesn't remember it anymore.  Somebody might say, "How can God ever use me again?"  Well, when God forgives it's for keeps.   If you have confessed that sin and repented of it.  You must forgive yourself because God has forgiven you already.   You are not a bigger judge than God, you must forgive yourself.  Just put that guilt in the Lords' hands. He's forgiven you, quit beating yourself up.  Young people if you've messed up somehow,  it's not too late to get it right. Sometimes we make choices that hurt ourselves.  We must learn to love ourselves and forgive ourselves so that we are able to love others.  Continue in the Lord.
Forgive others and forgive yourself.  We can't change the past but we can be victorious in our future.

Roman 6:1-22 ¶ What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? - ....God Forbid.
Asking Forgiveness

When we became born again we do not have to ask God for forgiveness anymore, even if we did something wrong. We confess our sins but no longer have to ask forgiveness.  True Or False

Mathew 6:9 -15 .....verse 12
After this manner, therefore, pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

(We must get our own hearts right with our brother/sister before God will forgive us.)
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

When we sin we hurt our relationship with the Heavenly Father. We grieve the Holy Spirit. When we have gone on without restoring that relationship by asking forgiveness and the confessing of our sins, we can not live in the peace and joy the Lord has spoken of to us. Our lives will not exemplify the Holy Spirit's attributes in our lives. Sometimes this also happens when our faith has been tried for a very long period of time and we begin to doubt. We have to restore our relationship with our Heavenly Father just like we do with people. God will not bless our prayer if we have ought against our brother/sister The Bible tells us to first go to our brother/sister then God will bless our prayers. Your brother or sister will never be able to say you didn't try. God wants you to forgive your brother/sister from the heart, even if they will not accept your attempts to restore a relationship with them. Then our prayers will be heard for our own forgiveness. If we are truly saved you cannot lose our salvation, but an unforgiving heart means disobedience has hindered our relationship with God. Therefore, our effectiveness as a Christian is also hindered. God's will is for us to humble ourselves even if we are not the guilty one. If we do this God will bless us for our obedience and give us the grace to love those that do not love us.

God will chastise ( punish in love) His children when they rebel against His desire for them.  He chastens those he loves.  God wants his children to repent from unforgiveness or any other sin hindering thier relationship with God.

If you have never asked Jesus to save you If you have never asked Christ Jesus into your life. That means you are not God's child and you will not go to heaven.  Christ has died for your sin.  He suffered for you and He wants you to accept Him and believe He died for you.  He wants you to follow him with your whole heart.  He died for you and arose from the dead on the third day.  He could do that because He is God.  He died for you but it only applies to you, when you believe upon Him and trusts Him as your personal Saviour.  Do you want to know 100%  that if you would die today, that you would go to heaven?  God does not want anyone to go to hell, He wants you to follow Him, He wants you to come to Him and ask Him to save your soul from sin and the Hell to come for all those that do not believe upon Him.

Father God. Thank you so much for your forgiveness to us and everything you did for us at Calvary and everything you do for us now. I pray that you will give each one here, each one listening,
the grace to forgive, even when it's hard.  Because that is how you have forgiven us and that is your will for us.  I pray that hearts will get right today and the discouraged will be empowered to do your will.  I pray for those here that do not know you, have not trusted you.  I pray that their eyes of understanding would be opened and they would follow you with their whole heart.  I pray they would believe upon Christ for the salvation of their soul.   I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus Our Lord and Saviour   Amen
