Christmas is the season;

We celebrate a birth.

The birthday of the Kings of kings.

The day God came to earth.

 

Jesus is the reason;

We ring the bells and sing.

We worship him, adore and love.

We praise him, honoring.

 

Happy birthday Jesus;

Happy birthday to you.

We are thankful, so thankful, so thankful for you.

On this Christmas morn.

We are thankful you were born.

 

Christmas is the birthday;

The Christ child we recall.

We wish him a happy birthday.

He gave his life for all.

 

Upon a starry night.

Upon a midnight clear.

One glistening star shined so bright.

And there were angels there.

 

Mary and Joseph prayed.

They held Jesus with love.

With thankful hearts of joyfulness.

God Son came from above.

 

Happy birthday Jesus;

Happy birthday to you.

We are thankful, so thankful, so thankful for you.

When God Gave Me Jesus

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me the way to eternal day.

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me life and the light of the world.

 He gave me a new heart.

I can rejoice in Jesus evermore.

When God gave me Jesus;

I’ve learned to love him more and more and more. *

Chorus: *

He gave me a forever friend.

One who loves me through good or bad.

Happy or mad, Joyful or sad.

When God gave me Jesus;

A true friend to the end, lose or win.

I can always trust him through thick or thin.

Christmas was more than packages and lights.

But true love came to earth.

It was a Holy Miraculous birth. 

When God gave me Jesus.

I still struggled within my heart at times.

He helps me each day

God works with us as an artist with clay. *

And he loves me unconditionally.

He gave me someone who will help me grow;

Makes me strong when I'm weak.

He gives me wisdom when I need to know.*
