Jesus Was Born On Christmas Day
Children's Poem
Jesus was born on Christmas day;
He would grow up;
To die and wash our sins away.
Jesus was born on Christmas day;
The guiding light;
He's the Truth, the Life, the Way.
Jesus was born on Christmas day:
Hope of heaven;
He would provide the only way.
Jesus was born on Christmas day;
The living Word;
Mary gently kissed, gently swayed.
Jesus was born on Christmas day;
Wonderful day:
He was our God upon the hay.

As He Would Do ~ Ron Tranmer
by Ron
Tranmer
When faced with choices in our life,
And we don't have a clue,
We should simply ask ourselves...
What would Jesus do?
If we will keep Him in our heart,
And seek His guiding light,
Then follow in His footsteps
We will always choose what's right.
Let's be led by the example
That Christ set for me and you.
When others need our help and love,
Let's do as He would do.
When faced with choices in our life,
And we don't have a clue,
We should simply ask ourselves...
What would Jesus do?
If we will keep Him in our heart,
And seek His guiding light,
Then follow in His footsteps
We will always choose what's right.
Let's be led by the example
That Christ set for me and you.
When others need our help and love,
Let's do as He would do.

Protect Them
Protect Them
Their little faces sweet, looking up at me, makes me
smile;
The things they say and do, make’s teaching them, so
worthwhile.
Their little hand clasping mine, trusting as they go;
I want to lead them in the way, the Lord for them to
know.
So innocent, so tender yet, the world does not have
hold;
Protect them Lord, please, oh please, I pray, protect
them from the cold.
Protect them from a cold dead life, that’s trampled by
much pain;
Show them Lord, I pray, your love, the love that
cleanses every stain.
Open the eyes of each child, I teach about your Holy book;
Don’t let the devil near them, or get them on his
tricky hook.
And if they seem to wander way, into a life of sin;
Gently lead them back my Lord, back to the fold again.

The Spiritual Monster Mash ~ Fun
That smash the monsters in life;
A spiritual monster mash;
Mashing envy, mashing strife.
I'll mash and smash out anger;
I'll defeat the giant foe.
As long as you go with me, Lord;
I'll mash them as I go.
The spiritual monster mash;
With my shield and sword in hand.
And my big, big gospel feet;
O, Lord, Give me grace to stand.
I'll do the mash!
The spiritual monster mash.
I'll do the mash!
I'll have a sin stompin', splash.
I'll have to eat properly;
I'll do the mash!
The spiritual monster mash.
I'll do the mash!
I'll have a sin stompin', splash.
I'll have to eat properly;
Eat lots of wheaty Holy Meat. (The Word)
Drink lots of prayer power aid;
While working out my mashing feet.
I'll mash out discontentment;
I'll mash out discontentment;
And mash out the prideful thought.
All you ugly monsters run!
You don't want to get caught.
I will mash and I will smash you;
I will mash and I will smash you;
With my big, big mashing feet.
With Jesus as my muscle;
I've got all you monsters beat!
The spiritual, monster mash;
The spiritual, monster mash;
Stomp, stomp, mash, bash, crash!
I'll put those monsters to an end:
Doing the spiritual..... monster mash;
I'll do the mash!
The spiritual monster mash.
I'll do the mash!
I'll have a sin stompin', splash.
I'll do the mash!
The spiritual monster mash.
I'll do the mash!
I'll have a sin stompin', splash.

God Is Calling
God is calling out His warriors,
Calling now, for girls and boys
Who will carry forth the banner
Who can stand the battle noise;
And He wants the noble ~ gentle;
Wants the purest and the brave ~
So set your goals up higher!
You can ride the greatest wave!
Tho you walk thru din and rubbish
You can be above reproach ~
If you keep your council constant
If you listen to your Coach!
He needs those to call “Prince Valiant”
Needs a “Joan of Arc” or two;
Have you thought, my little children
That He might be calling you?
You may see the vulgar gesture, but
You do not do the same;
You may hear the slimy story but
It shall not bear your name;
For you keep your bridle anchored
On your tongue and rule your life!
And you’ll never spit the words out
That can only bring out strife.
God is calling oh, so softly, so
Don’t turn the music loud ~
When He speaks you’ll hear His whisper
Even if you’re in a crowd.
He’s the Master of all Masters ~
Full of mercy, love and grace;
When you’ve waged the war of ages
You shall see Him face to face!

Plant His Word
To
plant His words
Within my heart
Forever
there!
To
place that Life
Within my own
With loving care...
I’ll
say the words
Time and again
Until I know
The
promises, the
Words of truth
That bless me so!
.....One
day I’ll see
His blessed face
Receive His grace,
Those
precious words
Forever true
Still in their place!

Bible Poem ~ Noah
NOAH
How’d you get all those hens,
Birds and cats, and goats back then?
How’d they come to just that place?
Did some of them have to race?
The rain would come,
Birds and cats, and goats back then?
How’d they come to just that place?
Did some of them have to race?
The rain would come,
But not before
Noah got them in and
God shut the door!
Now, tell me true,
Did none of them fight
When they had to stay there,
On the boat, all night?
And I can guess,
When the water went away,
They had an awful crowd
At the door, that day!
They must have stuck around.
For, a rainbow, high,
Was shining, right there,
In the big, blue, sky!
A rainbow is a promise
That God’s word is true,
A promise that He’ll always
Love me and you.
Noah got them in and
God shut the door!
Now, tell me true,
Did none of them fight
When they had to stay there,
On the boat, all night?
And I can guess,
When the water went away,
They had an awful crowd
At the door, that day!
They must have stuck around.
For, a rainbow, high,
Was shining, right there,
In the big, blue, sky!
A rainbow is a promise
That God’s word is true,
A promise that He’ll always
Love me and you.

Bible Poem ~ Gideon
He thought he was a farmer.
But, then, the angel came.
He called him "Mighty Warrior".
Why, he knew Gideon’s name!
He took his father’s wagon
And pulled the idol down.
They had an awful ruckus,
In Gideon’s town!
Many men made soldiers.
But, God said, "No!
A bunch of these guys
Will have to go!
I don’t make mistakes,
And I want the world to know
That I won the battle,
Not you men from below!
Take your soldiers for a drink.
Let a few more go.
Those that lap like dogs,
Well, send those fellows home!
Now, sneak into the camp site
Of your enemy.
Get your lanterns ready,
Bugles on key.
Shout, 'I serve the living God!'
Praise Me and, now, sing!
Know you serve a living God
Who can do anything!"

Bible Poem ~ David
DAVID
Little David, shepherd boy,
Sleeping there beneath the stars -
You may not know it, yet, but God
Knows the wonder that you are!
Just because you had to fight
To save your flock from enemies,
You were strengthened, in your soul,
And did for God a mighty thing!
Little David, with his sling -
Goliath (great and mighty, tall,
Armored, and so highly trained)
Fell the hardest of them all!
Little David, now the King,
Still can play the harp and lyre,
Sing the songs of God on high,
With the Spirit’s mighty power!
You may not know it, yet, but God
Knows the wonder that you are!
Just because you had to fight
To save your flock from enemies,
You were strengthened, in your soul,
And did for God a mighty thing!
Little David, with his sling -
Goliath (great and mighty, tall,
Armored, and so highly trained)
Fell the hardest of them all!
Little David, now the King,
Still can play the harp and lyre,
Sing the songs of God on high,
With the Spirit’s mighty power!

Making Fall Count
Treasure Box Preschool ~ Fall
1 - 2 - 3
Rake the leaves;
Into a pile of fun.
4 -5 -6
Do some flips;
Start out with a run.
7 - 8- 9
fall is a time;
To enjoy the leaves.
Then comes 10;
Jump right in;
With your playtime friends.

I'm sure that when God created the fall season
He had children in mind when He gave us the leaves.
He had children in mind when He gave us the leaves.
