Weeds keep your garden from being what it should be. In this garden of life, we compare weeds
to sin. Weeds choke good plants and sometimes kill them and they tend to take over your garden.
Pestilence can also overtake a garden and must be controlled consistently. We need to be vigilant and aware in our own life's garden, As it is written, "The devil is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour."
Preventing destructive things from happening takes determination and faithfulness, by obeying the instructions God has given us in His Word and seeking his guidance in prayer. God tells us to examine ourselves daily by looking into our own hearts and asking God to show us what we need to repent of in order to maintain a healthy garden. To allow these things to stay and exist in our gardens would be very destructive and unfruitful.
Keeping constant will help it not become a huge chore, If it happens, that an enemy tries to destroy your garden it could be very difficult to get your garden the way it was and it also becomes very discouraging. Do not let weeds overtake your heart and life. Examples would be anger, dissatisfaction, envy, distractions, pride, stubbornness, rebellion, disobedience to authority, and the love of money
( When you are willing to do wrong to get money or things then you love it too much), as it is written in scripture "The love of money is the root of all evil,"
Playing destructive or evil games that hurt or use others to gain control and most likely involve hate or witchcraft are dangerous weeds like poison ivy or hemlock. So is desiring wrong wicked things that God forbids. All these things mentioned will destroy our gardens now and the future of our garden. Possibly your future children will be affected by choices now. That's why God tells us we reap what we sow. Our sins could visit our children's lives if we do not repent. God will show mercy to you and your future when you submit to his will for your life. - Susan Nikitenko
