🎶 “More Than I Planted”

This Picture Is for This Poem Song Only

🎶 “More Than I Planted”

Verse 1

I planted seeds in quiet ground,
Just hoping for a simple yield,
But roses bloomed where hope was found,
And grace rose shining in my field.
He gave me more than I expected—
A harvest time could not contain;
He poured out mercy unexpected,
Forgiveness falling like the rain.

Verse 2

I planted seeds of compassion,
Prayed tenderness would start to grow,
And He sent people on my pathway
To shower with His love below.
I sowed small seeds of encouragement,
Asked God to bless them as they spread,
And He filled up my heart with hope—
A living joy to share instead.

Verse 3

I planted seeds of faithfulness,
My offerings humble, small, and few;
He filled my garden full of faith,
Though weeds crept in, as weeds will do.
I asked Him for His sweet forgiveness,
Pulled doubts from where they tried to start;
He set me apart for His purpose,
And wrote His peace upon my heart.

Verse 4

Tested and tried, I wondered softly
If I must give my life someday,
Like pods that break to free their seeds
And scatter truth along the way.
But then He whispered, “Child, remember—
Your life is Mine; your strength is Me.
Just sow the seeds of his truth and love,
And trust the harvest yet to be.”

🎵 Chorus

More than I planted,
More than I dreamed,
Grace overflowing
In rivers redeemed.
Mercy unending,
Love without end—
He sends the harvest
Only God can send.

If I Could Give You Blessings

 If I Could Give You Blessings

If I could give you blessings, I’d slip them in your shoes— Soft steps of mercy for the roads you didn’t choose. I’d stitch them in your pockets, where your trembling fingers hide, So when you reach for courage, you’ll find grace tucked inside.

I’d pour them in your coffee cup, warm and honey-sweet, To stir your weary mornings with a joy that tastes complete. I’d braid them through your laughter, so even when you cry, A thread of holy comfort would glisten in your sky.

I’d plant them in your garden, where the quiet prayers grow wild, With blooms of understanding for the inner, aching child. I’d write them on your windowsill in sunlight’s golden ink, So every time you look outside, you’ll pause and stop to think—

That you are not forgotten, not forsaken, not alone. That heaven sends its whispers in the softest undertone. And if I could give you blessings, I’d give you this today: The knowing that you’re cherished in a thousand quiet ways.

A Basket of Blessings From My Heart to Yours

📖 Opening Scripture (KJV)

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.

 Devotion: A Basket of Blessings From My Heart to Yours

If I could hand you something today, it wouldn’t be wrapped in ribbon or hidden in tissue—it would be a basket. Not just any basket, but one woven with prayer, lined with grace, and filled with blessings gathered from the garden of God’s goodness. It would be soft with mercy, fragrant with hope, and overflowing with joy.

Inside, you’d find peace for your anxious thoughts—like lavender tucked between pages of scripture. You’d find courage, shaped like a warm loaf of bread, ready to nourish your weary soul. You’d find laughter, like sunbeams caught in a jar, and forgiveness folded like a quilt stitched with second chances.

This basket isn’t mine alone—it’s passed from heart to heart, from one redeemed soul to another. Because when God blesses us, it’s never meant to be hoarded. His gifts multiply when shared. The more we pour out, the more He pours in. That’s the miracle of grace: it never runs dry.

But sometimes we forget. We clutch our baskets tight, afraid there won’t be enough. We compare our blessings to others’ baskets and miss the beauty of our own. Yet God gently reminds us: “Child, I am the source. I am the giver. I am the overflow.” And when we open our hands, we find they were never empty.

So today, I offer you this basket—not because I’m perfect, but because I’ve been blessed. And tucked inside is the greatest gift of all: the invitation to know the Giver Himself. His name is Jesus. He doesn’t just fill baskets—He fills hearts. He doesn’t just bless—He saves.

To receive Him, it’s as simple and sacred as ABC:

  • Admit you are a sinner in need of grace (Romans 3:23)

  • Believe that Jesus died and rose again for you (Romans 10:9)

  • Confess Him as Lord and call on His name (Romans 10:13)

That’s the beginning of a life where your basket never empties—because it’s held by nail-scarred hands that never let go.

So from my heart to yours, take this blessing. Let it remind you that you are loved, chosen, and invited into a story of eternal abundance.

💡 Tip of the Day

Write down three blessings you’ve received this week—then share one with someone else. Blessings grow best when planted in others.

📖 Scripture Recommendation

  • James 1:17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…

  • Psalm 103:2Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits…

  • Philippians 4:19But my God shall supply all your need…

🙏 Matching Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for the basket of blessings You’ve placed in my life. Help me to see them, savor them, and share them. I admit my need for You, believe in Your saving love, and confess You as my Savior. Fill my heart with Your joy, my hands with Your grace, and my life with Your purpose. May I be a blessing to others, just as You have been to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Sunshine Basket - Children's Song

My Sunshine Basket

Within my sunshine basket.
Filled with sunshine words of praise.
I remember when I read them.
To rejoice in Him always.

When life seems kind of dreary.
When it's hard to wear a smile.
I'm reminded of sweet blessings;
That has been there all the while.

When I'm sad within my heart.
I think of heaven above.
When I reach into my basket.
I'm reminded of God's love.

When we learn to be thankful.
And to praise God's holy name.
There is healing in His wings.
Hope in Him and joy remains.

In Him we see the glimmer;
of  His love, His joy, His peace.
We find hope like a river;
Praying at our Saviour's feet.

When we call upon His name.
Trusting in His love complete.
His mercy comes shining through;
For, His love for us is sweet.

Blessing one and blessing two;
Look at what our God can do.
Blessing nine and blessing ten.
Let's remember to praise Him.

Within my sunshine basket.
Filled with sunshine words of praise.
I remember when I read them.
To rejoice in Him always.

Not By Bread Alone - Children's Song

Thanksgiving Harvest Activities

Not By Bread Alone
Thanksgiving Song Poem

We live not by bread alone;
But by Gods Holy Word.
For through it we feed our souls;
And the Truth we learn.

Not by the fresh stuffed turkey;
Not the roasted ham.
Not by the sweet potatoes;
Not by candied yams.

Not by old fashioned cobbler;
On our window seal.
Not by the cinnamon buns;
That give our nose a thrill.

Not by the bread that’s baking,
Not by pumpkin pie;
Not by Grandma’s canned preserves;
Let me tell you why.

Jesus is the bread of life;
Jesus is the way.
Jesus satisfies our need;
When we read and praise.

He fills us with His presence;
Comforts us with grace.
Fills our hearts with thanksgiving;
When we seek His Way.

We learn, to love each other;
We learn how to give.
We learn how to please God;
And how to forgive.

We live not by bread alone;
But by Gods holy Word.
For through it we feed our souls;
And our hearts are stirred.

Thank the Lord for His blessings;
This thanksgiving day.
Thank Him for the living Word;
The bread of  God's Way.

It's Time To Count! Our Many Blessings

It's Time To Count!

Our Many Blessings

Verse 1
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
One and two, three and four;
God has blessed us that's for sure.
With country free and family;
Our  God, who loves you and me.
All the flowers seas and trees;
Raindrops, starlight, colored leaves.
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.

Verse 2
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
Five and six, seven, eight;
Giving thanks, appreciate.
All the apples grapes and pears;
Our eyes, our nose and our ears.
All the creatures great and small;
And the mountains all so tall.
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.

Verse 3
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
Nine and ten, eleven, twelve.
With great thanks let's give a yell;
For our  feet,  our  heart, our hands;
Sisters. brothers, other lands.
For sunlight, the  moon at night;
And the wind to our kite.

It's time to count ( count!)
Our many blessings.
