Christ Is Our Forever - Teen to Adult

Each day we can rejoice in our hope.  The hope of Christ and the promise of his return.  The hope of heaven where Jesus will brush our last tears away. For, we shall never cry again. We will then know more joy than we've ever known.

Christ is Our Forever

As we hear of the devastating horrific things that happen in this world.  Our hearts feel saddened and disheartened.  Some are traumatized and troubled over the violence and cruelty that happens in this world.

We who truly know Christ, we have a home that awaits us where angels sing and rejoice night and day.

Where sweetness of spirit always persists, and the true love of Christ dwells.  No hate or hurt, no unwelcoming judgment, no violence, no death only peace eternal.

All those that perish in their rejection of Christ will weep evermore within the torments of hell.

We warn people as the Lord has commanded but the world goes on as if there is no God.

Our peace and our hope is Christ for he will carry us away one day to our home awaiting us.

We do not rejoice over the terrible things that happen in life.  We rejoice because we have a Father in heaven to hold us and comfort us through our tears.  We rejoice that this life is temporal and the only

“Forever Home” is heaven.

Every day there is something to cry about.  Someone killed people, people died. Marriages break up, someone committed suicide.  A bomb went off people died on the streets. We could talk forever about the hurt of children or people who die of cancer. These things will happen and our hearts would be consumed

if we let it.

Christ is our forever.  This world will pass away and all of these things will end for us when we enter glory.  God tells us to comfort each other with these things.  We have a place awaiting, that Jesus has prepared.  A place where Godly love is real and shall never be broken.   We will see the most beautiful wave of Christians from all over the world. Every color, singing and worshipping across the golden streets of heaven.  We will see them singing.  We will see them worshiping. We shall do so together in praise of our Father, God Almighty.

Each day we can rejoice in our hope.  The hope of Christ and the promise of his return.  The hope of heaven where Jesus will brush our last tears away. For, we shall never cry again. We will then know more joy than we've ever known.

Jesus is in our hearts and He will be with us always.  He is our helper, our friend, and our comforter.

1Thesalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (Referring to verses 16 and 17)

1 Corinthians 15:52

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Revelations 21:4

 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

(KJV)

Jesus In Our Heart - A Guide # 2

                                                           3 Leaf Clover / Saint Patricks Day

Jesus In Our Heart

Baptism is a picture of what happens to you when you become saved.  We without Christ are dead in our sins.  Separated from God.  Once a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Something happens.  They become alive to God because Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit comes into their heart.

When we are baptized, we are emersed under the water, buried in the likeness of Christ, and arising to new life in Christ Jesus.  It is a testimony and an example, to all, that we have been saved and have become born to God as his dear child.  We were dead to God, but now, made alive unto God.

This is exactly what happens when we become born again. By faith, our sins are washed away.  The blood of Christ shed for us was applied upon the acceptance of Christ Jesus into our life.  We spiritually are risen into a new life and beginning.  We have been adopted into the family of God.

The Holy Spirit is Jesus in our hearts but is called the Comforter in scripture.   The comforter is with us and in us.  Jesus in our hearts.  We can pray and Jesus helps our feeble prayers, He speaks for us with perfect prayers even when we don’t know how to say what needs to be asked.  When you worship God, you can feel his presence with you.  He is there for you to help you through life’s troubles.

All acceptable good works are through Christ alone.  Our righteousness is as filthy rags to God.

Isaiah 64:6 ¶ But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.  Good works of any kind are excepted by people.  They are commended and looked up to.  People normally reward people for doing good things.  Many are known for their wonderful gift of charity.  However, God does not accept our goodness as righteousness but as filthy rags.  That is why the crown we receive in heaven will be laid at the feet of Christ.  Christ within us and his working through us is the only righteousness accepted by God.  Not of good that I have done, but only what Christ has done through us.  That only happens if we accept Christ and the shedding of his blood for our sins.

The Holy Spirit does not testify of himself, He testifies of Jesus.  This is why we pray in the name of Jesus Christ and do all things in Jesus Christ’s name.

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

 Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

God offers the gift of salvation to whoever wants it.

John 3:15 -17 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.

 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Jesus Talks about the Comforter

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

 John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

 John 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

 John 16:7 ¶ Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Some lesson afterthoughts...

Jesus was baptized at thirty years old, as our example.  Not one baby was baptized by emersion or sprinkling in the bible.  Each person should understand what they are doing.  Baptism is the first step of obedience as a Christian.

When God Gave Me Jesus

When God Gave Me Jesus

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me the way to eternal day.

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me life and the light of the world.

 He gave me a new heart.

I can rejoice in Jesus evermore.

When God gave me Jesus;

I’ve learned to love him more and more and more. *

Chorus: *

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me a forever friend.

One who loves me through good or bad.

Happy or mad, Joyful or sad.

When God gave me Jesus;

A true friend to the end, lose or win.

I can always trust him through thick or thin.

Jesus is the friend of all friends.

When God Gave Me Jesus.

Christmas was more than packages and lights.

But true love came to earth.

It was a Holy Miraculous birth.

When God gave me Jesus.

I still struggled within my heart at times.

He helps me each day

God works with us as an artist with clay. *

Chorus: *

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me a forever friend.

One who loves me through good or bad.

Happy or mad, Joyful or sad.

When God gave me Jesus;

A true friend to the end, lose or win.

I can always trust him through thick or thin.

Jesus is the friend of all friends.

When God gave me Jesus.

He gave me a friend who will stay with me.

                                                                 A faithful and true friend.

And he loves me unconditionally.

 When God gave me Jesus.

He gave me someone who will help me grow;

Makes me strong when I'm weak.

He gives me wisdom when I need to know.*

Chorus: *

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me a forever friend.

One who loves me through good or bad.

Happy or mad, Joyful or sad.

When God gave me Jesus;

A true friend to the end, lose or win.

I can always trust him through thick or thin.

Jesus is the friend of all friends.

Jesus is my best friend.

He helps me to love and know how to love;

When God gave me Him.

He gave me life and someone to trust in.

 Thank you for salvation.

Thank you, dear God, Thank you for loving us.

And all the gifts you give.

Thank you for Jesus the Gift of Christmas.

Chorus: *

When God gave me Jesus;

He gave me a forever friend.

One who loves me through good or bad.

Happy or mad, Joyful or sad.

When God gave me Jesus;

A true friend to the end, lose or win.

I can always trust him through thick or thin.

Jesus is the friend of all friends.

Jesus is the friend of all friends.
