Envy

Envy
Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous;
but who is able to stand before envy?

The jealous game is the devil's game.
If you insist on using the jealous game then
you are letting the devil use you. It causes

divisions among the brethren.

This is a game we must resist. People use this
game to gain control. I've noticed this game, especially
in the youth. I've called it the jealous game.
They do it on purpose. It causes arguments and disputes
between friends and the family. The person playing the game has
learned they can get what they want by causing jealousy.
It is the same game that was played to stir up the crowds
against Jesus. If you feel something is starting to make
you feel jealous, Someone may be tempting you on purpose.
I do not play these kinds of games, but I am aware of them when they
are being played. I warned my kids about this game because they
needed to be aware of the temptation of envy and the fact that someone can
actually stir it up on purpose. Anyone who stirs up
envy is not doing the work of God. That's the devil's work..in the devil's way.

Now if someone is going about and doing the work
of the Lord and someone becomes jealous that's
not the fault of the one being faithful and doing their best.
The jealous game is designed to hurt whoever they
are jealous of or also gain control over someone by
making them jealous so they can control them-
when they have nothing to be jealous about.

Matthew 27:16-22
And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
For he knew that for ENVY they had delivered him.
When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
