I'm Working On My Additude = New Song

I'm Working On My Additude
(Chorus)

I'm working on my attitude,
Trying to live with gratitude.
I’ll ask, “Is this what Jesus Christ would do?”
Changing my tune, one prayer at a time—
With humility rhythm and rhyme.

(Verse 1)
When I’m grumbly, mumbly,a stomping my feet,
I stop and think, “Is this how love should speak?”
So I bow and pray, give it to the Lord,
Please let kindness be my final chord.

(Verse 2)
If I feel snappy, cranky, or blue,
I pray that Father God will help me through.
He shows us how to live with his grace,
So I’ll practice patience on God’s que.

(Bridge)
It's not always easy, I’ll admit,
Sometimes I’d rather throw a fit.
But Jesus is working change in me,
So I sing,I pray,off’rings bring.

(Repeat Chorus)
I'm working on my attitude,
Trying to live with gratitude.
Changing my tune, one prayer at a time—
With humility rhythm and rhyme.

New Song "No Tude Please"

Rascalia's Song

No Tude Please

No tude, please—I’ve had my fill

Of stompy feet and voices shrill.

Let kindness rule where tempers fade,

And grace be more than just a trade.

No tude, please—let love begin,

With gentle words and patient grin.

A thankful heart, a peaceful soul,

With God’s blessing of self-control.

No tude, please—I need God’s hand,

To help me live just as He planned.

A cheerful heart, not grump or gloom,

Let joy rebloom and fill the room.

So if I pout or slam a door,

Lord, help me love a little more.

No tude, please—I’d rather be

A peacemaker in harmony!

Prayer:

Lord  help me have the right attitude.

A  heart  of love and gratitude.

Help me to always be gentle and kind.

With peaceful words, never be rude.

With An A Attitude

Having an A Attitude is something we all need to learn. I have to remind myself each time a problem comes up, to have an A attitude. - Thinking of Joseph in prison, I know that Joseph had to have a good attitude. Each time Joseph was put anywhere, even in prison, he became favored by those in charge. Joseph was blessed because He had a good attitude and God put favor in the hearts of those in charge.

Watching For Grandma - Activity Ideas

Younger Ages

Showing Patience And Respect
Discussion

 Showing Impatience Sometimes or Can...
. cause accidents
. cause needless mistakes
.cause us to get in a hurry and do a job halfway.
.make others angry
.causes you to become discontent
.causes others to become upset
.shows a lack of self-control
.causes you to lose your manners
.be selfish, willful and disrespectful
.it causes us to lose our testimony
.stirs up attitudes and causes fights
.causes us to run ahead of God's will.
.causes us to worry.
.shows a lack of faith.

Makeup sentences that explain these things happening in a pretend situation.

( Example)
Jenny got in a hurry because she wanted a cookie and burnt her hand
while grandma was pulling them out of the oven.

Color your picture then
cut out the picture on
your coloring page. Paste it
onto the verse page.

Print the coloring page smaller to make sure it fits
on the verse page.

We will be talking about showing respect and patience to
each other.

Psalms 27:14
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
