🎶 When I Saw the Snowy Owl

🎶 When I Saw the Snowy Owl

Original Children’s Worship Song By Susan Barker Nikitenko & George, 2026©

Verse 1 When I saw the snowy owl, I couldn’t help but praise the Lord. Feathers white and eyes so bright— A silent gift from God adored. Gliding through the winter air, Made with wisdom, made with care. Every part, from beak to wing, Shows the glory of our King.

Chorus God made the snowy owl, And He made me too. He made the rushing stream, And skies so wide and blue. But more than all the world, He gave His Son for me— To wash my heart with love so pure, And set my spirit free!

Verse 2 When I saw the snowy owl, I felt God’s nearness in the breeze. In the hush of melting snow, I bowed my heart upon my knees. Not just feathers, not just flight— But a truth that shines so bright: Jesus came to save the lost, By shedding blood upon the cross.

Bridge (Scripture-based) “The heavens declare His glory,” “Be still and know,” He says. “The starlight is His forever,” *“In wisdom made,” He blesses. “O Lord, how excellent Thy name!”

Final Chorus God made the snowy owl, And He made me new. He gave His Word of truth, And love that’s always true. So now I lift my voice, To praise Him joyfully— The snowy owl reminds my heart: Jesus died to rescue me!

Tag Ending When I saw the snowy owl, I saw God’s love for me.
