Craft 1 – “Nellie’s Faith Bus Banner”
🚌 Theme: Receiving God’s Word joyfully and learning trust
✂️ Materials:
Construction paper or cardstock
Mini paper plates (as wheels)
Glue, markers, crayons
Printed music notes or “Jesus Loves Me” lyrics
Stickers or cutouts of Bibles, hearts, and doves
🧵 Instructions:
Build a bus: Use a rectangular piece of paper for the bus body. Add paper plate “wheels” underneath.
Windows of blessings: Draw or paste 3–4 window spaces on the bus. Inside each, kids write or draw something they’re learning about God (truth, trustworthiness, kindness).
Banner title: Across the top, write “On the Road with Jesus!”
Add music notes and lyrics around the border from songs like “Jesus Loves Me” or “This Little Light of Mine.”
Optional: Attach a string to hang it up like a classroom banner!
