The Unjust Judge - Luke 18 1-8

 Visual Aids For The Teaching Of The Parable "The Unjust Judge"    (Preteens - Teens)

The Unjust Judge
Luke 18:1
1 .And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2.   Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3.  And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4.  And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5  Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6.  And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7.  And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8.  I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

The Purpose Of The Parable
- Pray Always
- Faint Not

The CONTRAST - God Is Just, Loving, Compassionate, Selfless,

When We Have Become Judges
James 4:11
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

The Unjust Judge = Those In  Authority Who Are Unjust

The Fear Of The Lord is The Beginning Of Wisdom

 Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:

The Greatest Commandment:
Matthew 22:
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
