Love God: No Other Gods

When We Put Something Or Somebody Ahead

Of God, Like Money, Pleasures, Or Friends.

It Means We Love Those Things More Than We Love God. God Does Not Want Us Loving Anything More Than Him Especially Another God. He Does Not Want Us To Bow To Any Idol Or Pray To It. He Does Not Want Us To Make A Graven Image And Pray To It.

God Does Not Want Us To Make Images In Order To Worship Them Or Pray To Them.

Exodus 20

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Our Motives Are Very Important To God.

God Can Look At Our Hearts And Know If Our Motives Are Pure. If Our Motives Are To Look Good To Others Or Earn Our Way To Heaven, Our Good Works Are Not Out Of A True Love From Above. If We Do Many, Many Good Works And Have The Wrong Reason. It Is Not Counted As Righteousness To God.

God Is Love And And True Good Works Are

Only Accepted Through Christ.

Because Our Righteousness, Without Christ

Is As Filthy Rags To God.

We Cannot Love God Apart From Christ.

Several Times The Bible Teaches Us That Jesus Is God. That's Why The Bible Teaches That Jesus Is The Way, The Truth, The Life. Without Him There Would Be No Hope Of Heaven Nor Would There Be A Relationship With God.

To Say That You Love God But Reject Jesus.,

Would Mean You Are Not Saved And That You Need To Know Jesus.

He is The Only Way To God

And His Forgiveness.

The Only Escape From The Judgement Of Hell.

The Only Way To Heaven.

Love God: Have Faith

For us To Love God We Must Love And Except His Son, Christ Jesus. The Bible Says That We Are Saved By Grace Through Faith Not By Works. Without Faith It Is Impossible For Us To Please God. Even If We Seem To Be Very Good People And Do Many Wonderful Works In His Name. We Can Only Be Saved One Way, By Faith And Acceptance Of What Christ Did For Us At Calvary. Accepting Christ Jesus As Our Savior, Living Then By Faith In What He Has Said In His Word Is The First Avenue In Pleasing God And Loving Him.

Our Relationship With God Comes First Through Faith And A Growing Christian Continues In Faith

Throughout His Christian Walk. Continuing In Faith Is Also Continuing In Love.
