Verse 1
In the meadow bright and golden,
Where the Honey Cup begins,
We will run with patient hearts,
Helping friends through every spin.

Chorus
Run with patience, run with joy,
Trust in Jesus every day.
Bee strong, bee kind,
Let His love show the way.

Verse 2
When a teammate trips or stumbles,
We will stop and lift them high.
Victory comes from loving hearts,
And wings that praise the Lord Most High.

Chorus
Run with patience, run with joy,
Trust in Jesus every day.
Bee strong, bee kind,
Let His love show the way.

What Today’s Lesson Teaches (KJV Bible)

Today we learned what it means to run with patience.
The Bible says:

“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”
— Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

God wants us to keep going even when things get hard.
He wants us to help others, be kind, and trust Him every step of the way.

Patience means:

  • waiting without complaining

  • trying again when you feel like quitting

  • helping someone who is struggling

  • trusting God’s timing instead of your own

Just like the Thundering Angels football team, we learn to:

  • slow down when someone needs help

  • stay calm when the game gets tough

  • keep our hearts steady

  • remember that God has a plan

Knock‑Your‑Socks‑Off Questions

These questions help the child think deeply and personally.

1.

Have you ever felt like giving up on something because it was too hard?
What happened?

2.

When someone around you is struggling, do you rush ahead or stop to help?
Why?

3.

What does patience look like in your everyday life?
At home?
At school?
With friends?

4.

Do you believe God has a plan for your life—even when things feel confusing?
How does that make you feel?

5.

What part of today’s story helped you understand patience better?
The game?
The teamwork?
The Scripture?

Real‑Life Examples Kids Understand

Here are simple ways patience shows up in a child’s world:

  • Waiting your turn when you really want to go first

  • Trying again when your drawing doesn’t look right

  • Not yelling when your sibling bothers you

  • Staying calm when you lose a game

  • Practicing a skill even when it takes a long time to learn

  • Helping a friend instead of rushing ahead

Patience is a superpower God gives to every child who asks.

A Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for loving me.
Thank You for giving me strength when things feel hard.
Help me to run with patience in everything I do.
Help me not to complain, not to quit, and not to forget Your love.
Teach me to trust Your plan, even when I don’t understand.
I know You care for me, and You want me to love You too.
Please help me grow in patience every day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
