Proverbs 10:9 (KJV 1611, Carries a Powerful Message

Proverbs 10:9 (KJV 1611, Carries a Powerful Message

Integrity and the consequences of dishonesty. Let’s break it down:

First Half of verse: "He that walketh uprightly walketh surely"Walketh uprightly, refers to living a life of honesty, righteousness, and integrity.
- “Walketh surely” means living with confidence, security, and stability because one’s actions are right.

💡 **Meaning: ** When a person lives truthfully and obeys God’s principles, they **do not need to fear exposure or consequences**. They walk with **certainty and peace**, knowing their actions are just.

---

Second Half of the verse: “But he that perverteth his ways shall be known”**
- **“Perverteth his ways”** means twisting, distorting, or corrupting the path of righteousness—through deceit, dishonesty, or sinful actions.
- **“Shall be known”** means that wrongdoing **will eventually be exposed**—whether by circumstances, consequences, or God’s judgment.

💡 **Meaning:** A dishonest person may hide their actions for a time, but eventually, **the truth comes out**. Sin leads to exposure, embarrassment, and destruction.

---

Overall, Lesson:

✔ Living **honestly** leads to **stability** and **peace**.
❌ Dishonesty and deceit will **eventually be revealed**, bringing consequences.

Application:

This verse encourages believers to **choose integrity** in every decision. Whether in personal life, work, or relationships, living uprightly provides confidence, while dishonesty ultimately leads to exposure and downfall.
