Christmas Song: Let Every Heart Give Him Room

This Art Is For This Song Only

Christmas Song

Song: Let Every Heart Give Him Room

Verse 1

The night was still, the star was bright,
Heaven’s glory filled the sky.
A Child was born, the promise true,
God’s great love has come for you.

Chorus

Let every heart give Him room,
Let every voice sing His tune.
Joy to the world, the Savior has come,
Let every heart give Him room.

Verse 2

Shepherds knelt, their eyes in awe,
Angels sang of peace for all.
Families gather, banners raised,
Love and mercy fill this place.

Chorus

Let every heart give Him room,
Let every voice sing His tune.
Joy to the world, the Savior has come,
Let every heart give Him room.

Bridge

From Bethlehem to today,
The star still shines, it lights the way.
Salvation’s gift, forever true,
He waits for me, He waits for you.

Final Chorus (soaring)

Let every heart give Him room,
Let every soul be made new.
Glory to God, the newborn King,
Let every heart give Him room.

My Pumpkin Patch Life – God Shining Through

My Pumpkin Patch Life – God Shining Through

Verse 1
In fields of gold and skies so blue,
I see the light of God shine through.
Each pumpkin round, each leaf that falls,
God's sweet, sweet blessings bless us all.

Chorus 1
My pumpkin patch life, so full and bright,
With laughter and prayer in morning light.
Through every season, old and new,
I see my God—He’s shining through.

Verse 2
The vines may twist, the winds may blow,
But roots of grace still gently grow.
In every hug, in every smile,
His Spirit walks each pumpkin mile.

Chorus 2

Hopping in leaves with giggles and glee,
I’m so glad that God loves me.
Loving the fall and who made it all,
For showers of blessings like these—
Of friends, of pumpkins and leaves.
Your shining light keeps my heart right,
With love, joy, and peace,
With spiritual fruit like these.

Bridge
So gather close, both young and old,
Let stories of His love be told.
For in this patch, both big and small,
His mercy wraps around us all.

Final Chorus (Blend)
My pumpkin patch life, so full and bright,
With laughter and prayer in morning light.
Through every season, old and new,
I see my God—He’s shining through.
Hopping in leaves with giggles and glee,
I’m so glad that God loves me!

A Sunshine Heart

💛 The Sunshine Heart

A yellow heart is sunlight’s song,
It warms the weary, makes them strong.
We show our care with our helpful aim.
with gentle love in Jesus' name.

It shines in friendship, pure and true,
A golden bond between us too.
It whispers thanks, it carries cheer,
A quiet hope that draws us near.

It’s autumn’s leaf, it’s harvest’s glow,
It’s kindness planted, seeds that grow.
It’s gratitude that lights the way,
A gift of love to bless our day.

So when you see that golden hue,
Remember joy is born anew.
The sunshine heart, both soft and bright,

Says:

You moved my heart with your sweet light.

🎭 “The Fruitful Follies: A Puppet Show of Spirit and Surprise”

🎭 “The Fruitful Follies: A Puppet Show of Spirit and Surprise”

Based on Galatians 5:22–23 (KJV)
Characters:

  • Cawrin the Crow – A hilarious, wisecracking bird with a heart of gold and a knack for interrupting.
  • Miss Maple – A gentle, poetic maple leaf puppet who teaches with grace and warmth.
  • Benny Barrel – A cheerful wooden barrel puppet filled with symbolic fruits, each representing a Fruit of the Spirit.

🌟 Scene 1: “The Great Harvest Talent Show”

(Curtains open to a cozy autumn stage with hay bales, pumpkins, and a banner reading “The Fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22–23 KJV”)

Miss Maple:
Welcome, dear friends, to our Harvest Talent Show!
Where fruits aren’t just tasty—they help your soul grow!
Tonight, we’ll share gifts that come from above,
Like joy, peace, and goodness, and Spirit-filled love.

Benny Barrel (rolling in):
I’ve got the goods! I’m packed with fruit!
Not apples and oranges—but spiritual loot!
Galatians 5:22–23 says it best:
Love, joy, peace… and all the rest!

Cawrin the Crow (flapping in dramatically):
CAW! I thought this was a pie-eating contest!
I brought my bib and my appetite!
(He pulls out a comically large fork and spoon.)
But okay, okay… I’ll behave.
I’m here to learn. Maybe. Probably. Sorta.

🎭 Scene 2: “The Dilemma of the Missing Fruit”

Miss Maple:
Wait… Benny, your fruit labels are missing!
Where’s “Faith”? Where’s “Meekness”?
This is serious!

Benny Barrel (panicking):
Oh no! Someone’s mixed up my fruit tags!
Now I can’t tell longsuffering from a lemon!

Cawrin (snickering):
Sounds like a job for Detective Cawrin!
I’ll sniff out the truth… or at least the snacks.

(Cawrin flaps around dramatically, inspecting the stage.)

Cawrin:
Aha! I found a clue under the hay bale—
A sticky note that says “Gentleness is hard!”
Hmm… someone’s struggling with their fruit.

🌿 Scene 3: “The Heart Behind the Fruit”

Miss Maple (softly):
Sometimes we lose sight of the Spirit’s gifts
When life gets heavy and our hearts need lifts.
But God’s Word reminds us—these fruits aren’t earned,
They grow when we trust Him, when lessons are learned.

Benny Barrel:
So it’s not about being perfect or proud,
But letting God’s Spirit shine through the crowd!

Cawrin (seriously, for once):
Even a crow like me can learn to be kind.
I flap, I squawk, but I’ve got peace in mind.
(Then he sneezes loudly into a leaf.)
CAW-CHOO! Sorry. That was “temperance” escaping.

🎉 Scene 4: “The Talent Show Finale”

(Each character presents a Fruit of the Spirit through a short skit or song.)

  • Miss Maple sings a gentle lullaby about “Peace.”
  • Benny Barrel juggles fruit labeled “Joy,” “Faith,” and “Goodness.”
  • Cawrin performs a dramatic reading of Galatians 5:22–23… with interpretive dance.

Cawrin (bowing):
I may be a crow, but I’m flying high!
With God’s Spirit, even I can try.
Love, joy, peace—it’s not just a rhyme,
It’s how we live, one fruit at a time!

🌈 Final Scene: “The Fruitful Reward”

Miss Maple:
The winner of tonight’s show… is all of us!
Because the Spirit’s fruit is a heavenly plus.
Let’s keep growing, glowing, and showing God’s grace—
In every heart, in every place.

Benny Barrel:
And remember:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23 KJV

Cawrin (winking):
Now, who’s got pie? I’ve been longsuffering all night!

(Curtains close to laughter, applause, and a joyful harvest hymn.)

Cut and put on a rod.

We Give Our Thanks - Harvest Party Song

We Give Our Thanks Song

Family Unity
Young and Old

This Is What I did: I handed out the paper ornaments, cut out with song verses already glued on. Hand out to each family member.  If you have more than nine people, you could have some attendies sing together.

Have them each sing, impromptu, until the song is finished.  It turned out great for us. We were in unity, and God's Presence was there. We ended altogether, singing the chorus as one.

To the Person in Charge or Delegate

Cut The Song Verses Into Nine Sections
and Glue Them Onto the Back Of The Paper Ornaments. Glue a Ribbon at the Top of Each One to Hang Them Onto The Tree.
For Each Person. # The Ornaments

Little hands fold soft and tight,.....Praying Hand

For This Lesson Only

We Give Our Thanks

Verse 1
Little hands fold soft and tight,
Whispers rise in autumn light.
Pumpkin pies and laughter near,
We lift our hearts for love sincere.

Chorus
We give our thanks on autumn days,
We lift our hearts in joyful praise.
For blessings bright, both old and new,
We thank the Lord for love so true.

Verse 2
Gobble, gobble, dance along,
The turkey hums a happy song.
Mashed potatoes, feast, and cheer,
Grateful voices echo clear.

Chorus
We give our thanks on autumn days,
We lift our hearts in joyful praise.
For blessings bright, both old and new,
We thank the Lord for love so true.

Verse 3
A basket brims with blessings sweet,
Corn and apples piled in neat.
We share our joy, we share our bread,
And thank the Lord for what He’s spread.

Chorus
We give our thanks on autumn days,
We lift our hearts in joyful praise.
For blessings bright, both old and new,
We thank the Lord for love so true.

Verse 4
Apple pie with cream so tall,
Grateful hearts embrace it all.
For family bonds and skies so blue,
We give our thanks for all that’s true.

Verse 5
Leaves that twirl and winds that sing,
Remind us of the gifts God brings.
With cozy hugs and laughter bright,
We thank Him for this day of light.

Final Chorus (soft)
We give our thanks on autumn days,
We lift our hearts in joyful praise.
For blessings bright, both old and new,
We thank the Lord for love so true.

🍂 Object Lesson: “The Basket of Blessings”

🍂 Object Lesson: “The Basket of Blessings” Unity

Title

“The Basket of Blessings”

Materials

  • A simple basket (or bowl) that is empty

  • Several small items to place inside (fruit, bread, toy "Puppets" "Doll", ribbon, note cards, a bible

  • Blank slips of paper and pencils

Lesson

Hold up the empty basket. Say: "This basket looks plain and empty. It doesn’t seem very special, does it? But watch what happens when we begin to fill it."

Place one item inside. "This apple reminds us of food. Every meal we eat is a gift from God. We say, ‘Thank You, Lord, for daily bread.’"

Place another item inside. "This ribbon reminds us of family and friends. God ties our hearts together with love. We say, ‘Thank You, Lord, for those who care for us.’" Unity as family.

Place another item inside. "These toys remind us of joy and laughter. God gives us moments that make us smile. We say, ‘Thank You, Lord, for happiness.’"  What do you prefer: the joy of life or the grumpiness of grief?   There are three or four different kinds of joy, There is an earthly joy, there is a Godly joy, there is a devilish joy, and there is a natural joy. Pleasure and joy are not the same.  These toys bring us laughter. They can teach , they can preach, they can bring us joy.. A baby doll can bring a child joy and prepare them for the day they hold a real child. They indeed bring children joy.

Flowers are gifts from God. They help people say I love you. or i care about you.

Place a note card inside. "This card reminds us of prayer. Every time we talk to God, He listens. We say, ‘Thank You, Lord, for hearing us.’"

A Box of Folded Jokes -

Now show the basket full. "See how the basket is no longer empty? Thankfulness fills our lives the same way. When we notice blessings and say thank you, our hearts become full of joy. An unthankful heart feels empty, but a thankful heart overflows."

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV

So as you go home tonight, keep looking for blessings — big and small. Share them with your family, write them down, or even draw them. Because when we give thanks, we shine God’s light in the world.

A Thought

"Being thankful is more than saying words. It’s seeing God’s love in every gift, big or small. When we bow our heads and whisper ‘thank You,’ we are filling our basket with blessings that never run out."

This is what I did. I had a small treasure box 2"X 4". This is one of the things that goes into our blessing basket

  • Proverbs 15:13 (KJV): “A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.”

  • Proverbs 17:22 (KJV): “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

🌿 Meaning & Teaching Connection

  • A merry heart = joy rooted in gratitude and trust in God.

  • It brings cheerfulness that shines outward, blessing others.

  • It acts like medicine, bringing healing and strength to the body and spirit.

  • In contrast, a broken spirit drains life and energy.

This ties beautifully into your Harvest Party theme — laughter, thankfulness, and joy are not just fun, they are spiritual gifts that heal and uplift.

The phrase “unspeakable joy” in the King James Bible is found in 1 Peter 1:8:

“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.”1 Peter 1:8, KJV

🌿 Meaning & Connection

  • Joy unspeakable = a deep, overwhelming gladness that words cannot fully express.
  • It comes from faith in Christ, even though we have not seen Him with our eyes.
  • This joy is spiritual, eternal, and glorious, rooted in salvation and hope.

✨ This verse pairs beautifully with your Harvest and Christmas themes — reminding children and families that true joy isn’t just laughter or fun, but the overflowing gladness of knowing Jesus.

Here’s a gentle, faith-filled Invitation to Know the Saviour you can use in your devotional, puppet show, or Harvest Party setting 🌟

✉️ Invitation to Know the Saviour

“Dear friends, tonight we’ve laughed, sung, and shared our blessings. But the greatest blessing of all is knowing Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

The Bible tells us:

‘For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.’ — Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Jesus came to give us joy unspeakable, peace that passes understanding, and eternal life. He loves you so much that He gave His life on the cross, and He rose again to offer forgiveness and hope.

If you have never trusted Him, this is His invitation:

  • Come with your thankful heart.
  • Believe that He died and rose again for you.
  • Receive His gift of salvation, freely offered in love.

As John 3:16 says:

‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’

Tonight, as we hang our blessing leaves and celebrate joy, let us remember the greatest blessing of all — the Saviour who gives us life, hope, and eternal love.”

The Thankful Tree: Take One 🌳🍁

Introducing The Puppet Show: The Thankful Tree

[Smiling, welcoming tone]

“Welcome, everyone, to our Harvest Celebration — and the very first performance of… The Thankful Tree! 🌳✨

We’re so glad you’re here. Today is all about joy, laughter, and remembering the blessings God gives us — even the little ones we sometimes forget. You’ll meet some very silly puppets, hear some jokes, and learn how thankfulness can grow like a tree — one leaf at a time.

Now, before we begin, each of you should have a special leaf — your Harvest Blessing Leaf. 🍂
This is where you’ll write or draw something you’re thankful for. It could be a person, a moment, a gift, or even something funny that made you smile. When the puppets finish their story, we’ll invite you to come up and hang your leaf on our Thankful Tree.

Because when we give thanks — even in hard times — we’re doing exactly what God wants for us.
Just like it says in the Bible:

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18

So get ready to laugh, learn, and celebrate the blessings all around us.
Let’s begin… The Thankful Tree — Take One! 🎭

🎭 Harvest Puppet Show:

“The Thankful Tree”

(Extended with KJV Verses)

📜 Script with Verses

Narrator: Welcome, friends, to the orchard of blessings, where the wind carries whispers of gratitude and the trees remember every thankful heart. Today, we gather around the Thankful Tree — not just to admire its beauty, but to fill it with our own stories.

📖 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Lady Leaf (floating in gracefully): I’ve danced through seasons and seen many things. But the most beautiful sight? A heart that remembers. Today, we gather not just to say thanks — but to become thanks.

📖 “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” (Psalm 136:1)

Sir Squirrel (bounding in): Become thanks? That sounds nutty! I thought we were just here to eat pie and play games!

📖 “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)

Pumpkin Pete (rolling in slowly): I’m thankful for the farmer who didn’t toss me aside when I grew lopsided. He saw something special in me. Sometimes blessings come in odd shapes.

📖 “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise… and the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” (1 Corinthians 1:27)

Crowley the Crow (flapping in with flair): Odd shapes? You’re looking at the king of odd! I’m thankful for laughter — especially when I trip over my own feet and everyone still claps.

📖 “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.” (Psalm 126:2)

Miss Apple (twirling in): I’m thankful for kindness. For the little girl who picked me gently and said, “You’re beautiful,” even though I had a bruise.

📖 “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Lady Leaf (gently): Let’s not forget the deeper things. I’m thankful for memories — for the grandmother who sang hymns while stirring soup, for the prayers whispered under moonlight, for the stories passed down like seeds.

📖 “One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.” (Psalm 145:4)

Narrator: And so, each friend brought their blessing to the tree. But the tree had something to say too — not with words, but with leaves. 📖 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:30)

(Children are invited to come forward and hang their blessings on the tree — each leaf representing a prayer, a memory, or a gift.)

Pumpkin Pete: Look how full it’s getting! Every leaf is a story. Every story is a seed.

📖 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)

Miss Apple: And every seed can grow into kindness, joy, or even a new tree.

📖 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.” (Galatians 5:22)

Crowley: I’m planting a joke leaf. It says, “Why did the apple stop in the middle of the road? Because it ran out of juice!”

📖 “A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” (Ecclesiastes 3:4)

Sir Squirrel: I’m planting a leaf that says, “Thank You, God, for giving me energy — and snacks.”

📖 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Lady Leaf: I’ll plant a leaf that says, “Thank You for the ones who came before me — and the ones who will come after.

” 📖 “Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.” (Proverbs 17:6)

Narrator: And so the Thankful Tree stood tall, not because of its branches, but because of the hearts that gathered beneath it. And if you listen closely, you’ll hear it whisper: “Thank you.”

📖 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” (Psalm 103:2)

🙏 Closing Prayer (spoken by or Narrator)

"Lord, we thank You for laughter, for legacy, for every leaf of love You’ve given. Help us be blessings to others — not just today, but always. May our hearts be trees that grow kindness, joy, and faith. Amen."

📖 “Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:7)

Paper Puppets Needed:

You could apply a stick to each picture if you wanted.  We just held the pictures up and read the script as a group.

🎤 Closing Script: The Thankful Tree

[Warm, reflective tone]

“Wasn’t that wonderful? 🌳✨ Our puppets reminded us that thankfulness can grow like a tree — one blessing at a time. And look at our Thankful Tree now, filled with leaves of gratitude from each of you.

Remember, God’s Word says:

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV

So as you go home tonight, keep looking for blessings — big and small. Share them with your family, write them down, or even draw them. Because when we give thanks, we shine God’s light in the world.

Thank you for joining us for The Thankful Tree — Take One. May your hearts be full of joy, laughter, and gratitude. 🍂🙏”

“I heard the voice of many angels…saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb…” — Revelation 5:11–12
Reflects heavenly worship and joy. Angels sing in praise, filling heaven with music and adoration for the Lamb who reigns forever.

Thank You Jesus Lullaby

💤🎵 Thank You, Jesus

(A Baby’s Thanksgiving Lullaby)

A Soft Song of Gratitude for Little Hearts

Verse 1

Thank You, Jesus, for this day,

For gentle skies and time to play.

For cuddles warm and lullabies,

And love that never says goodbye.

Verse 2

Thank You, Jesus, for the light,

That watches me through every night.

For Mommy’s smile and Daddy’s care,

 And angels guarding everywhere.

🎶 Chorus (softly)

 Thank You, Jesus,

kind and true, For every gift that comes from You.

For peace that wraps me like a song,

And holds me safe my whole life long.

Verse 3

Thank You, Jesus, for the food,  For pie and all things good.

For tiny toes and sleepy sighs, And stars that twinkle in the skies.

Bridge Even when I’m fast asleep, Your love is strong,

Your grace is deep. So I will rest in You tonight,

Wrapped in Your arms of perfect light.

🎶 Final Chorus (whispered)

Thank You, Jesus, kind and true,

For every gift that comes from You.

For peace that wraps me like a song,

And holds me safe my whole life long.

Outro (spoken softly)

 Thank You, Jesus… Goodnight.
