I saw something shiny
Hanging from a tree,
Thought it’d make my nest look nice,
A treasure just for me.
But when I grabbed that sparkly vine,
It wrapped around my wing…
And suddenly I wasn’t free
To do a single thing.

Stuck in a mess
That I wish I forgot.

I wiggled and I flapped,

My heart was full of fright.
So I called for Uncle Hooty,
As loud as I could be…
And he swooped down in a heartbeat
To help untangle me.
